The strobe effect of notification pop ups would give people epilepsy.


Will be nice not having to carve away at your friends list so that you can add other people, was a bit of a pain on the PS3.
 
I dont really see the point of having that much people on your friends list, but at least the limit is raised.
 
I don't think anybody will have 2000 on their list, but it's like having a watch waterproof to 200m; it's nice to know it's there.

There's my analogy for the day 👍
 
Maybe the '2000 friends' thing could be one of those "better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it," situations.

I for one will probably never come close to that.
 
Many times you wanted to add someone to your list, but you couldn't because he's list was already full.

That's what they were going for essentially. Make it high enough so that no one would complain about a lack of online friend space. I shouldn't expect to see any complaints about it either.

That said, there's bound to be a few people who reach the 2000 mark though. I reckon the majority of us will barely have 10% of that space filled.
 
There will be people all over the internet begging people to add them to their friends list so they can reach 2000. It will be a goal for some. :lol:
 
I hope with the increase in number of friends we get a slightly less distracting Heads up notification display when friends are on/offline .

I hope there is an option to turn notifications off. Or mabye be able to select some people on your list for notifications and ignore others.

Well, I'm pretty sure you can turn the notifications off on PS3 so it will probably be possible for PS4

That's as a whole though. As in everything off sort of thing. Hopefully there is a single one like I want to see this, want to see that but not this guy.

If it's like that, I would like to be able to turn notifications off too :lol:.
 
They're not giving much away, are they? 24 seconds of trailer and another 24 of fade-in and fade-out.
 
That trailer for Deep Down took it from really interesting to another generic moster game. What happened to dungeons and dragons feel? Guess can't really take too much away with a video like that.
 
If Sony sells the PS4 + Vita bundle for $500 or $550 + free 6 months or 1 year PS+, Xbone would have a hard time to compete :lol: I think even at $599 + free 1 year PS+, it would still be a huge saving over separate purchase and a very great alternative than Xbone. Sony should do this.

As you want Microsoft to fail in their console division? Insecure mentioning. Sony is in a pit as of now so I don't think it could get any worse for them. The deal is only a rumor. If it is true then it'd be really nice. I don't suspect them to do the deal for long so I guess it's a loss for me since I won't be getting the Xbox One or the PS4 anytime soon.
 
Does anybody know if games that you have download from the psi store follow you to the PS4?
