Will you be buying a digital or hard copy of the game?

I did not buy it yet, waiting on any word from playstation. if we don't hear anything about them until tomorrow night I will buy. I bought cards on this site when I bought Battlefield 3 a long time ago. But there are some users here saying they bought it and it was ok. Yeah we still have IOF, but we would have it anyways if buying through the USA store. I believe it is by credit card. If I eventually buy it tomorrow I'll let you know.

Nice. I think i'll buy as well if it works like amazon US, for example. Remember that tomorrow should be the last day of preorder (and get the dlc for free).

I am still not to sure about that wording "when it becomes available on the PS store" Wasn't GP Moto that was on the UE store for weeks before the US ?

I could be wrong but I'm think it was more like months rather than weeks

Yeah got me worried too. Sounds more and more like because of their delays... its NOT going to be available on launch day. What the actual 🤬!
 
I hope this get cleared up in a couple of day's. Between SMS racing dates and release dates the North America is really getting the cold shoulder

He only talks about the preorder version on his response.

It was said by them that the game would be released on the 12th on US soil.

I think they will deliver that.

I feel the same way, I can wait a few more days. I already used trade credit from Gamestop to get a physical copy so i'll save on the game anyways since I got tired of waiting.

This, relax there in North America :) PCars will be there for digital download on your release date :cheers:

You guys must be happy now with confirmation of that and getting both car packs as well.

I think it's bad that you were kept in the dark for so long but the person who got the answer from SMS deserves a huge attaboy.
 
Hey everyone, been reading all the posts the last few days, seems that everyone is anxious to finally play this amazing game.

Unfortunately I plan to play it on PS4, and yes, I live in Canada! :banghead: So I'm double-screwed both in release date and the PS Store pre-order. I have however, a copy of it pre-ordered on GameStop. After reading the earlier comments on some people ordering via UK PS store, best of luck to all of you being able to play it. I am fine with waiting a couple of days to play it until May 12.

I was confused as to why there was no NA pre-order, especially since its on Xbox store already, but the comment on the last page really cleared the problem-the 8 weeks advance notice. So that confirms it's Sony's fault, just let the public know a little earlier! :grumpy:


As for the eventual release of the NA edition on PS store, does anyone know if you can download the limited edition pack as a stand-alone when it does come out? I don't want to miss out on any DLC.


This is probably the best place on the web regarding the pre-order issue, it really helped me out.

To all the Europeans, and UK buyers, have fun playing this weekend!!;)
 
I interpreted that SMS reply as it won't be on PSN store for a while not just the pre-order because they couldn't get a spot on the store. They need a spot to buy the game digitally as well, not just for pre-orders. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

I'm new to digital pre-orders- Does anyone know why PSN doesn't let you start to pre-download it once paid all ready and it seems it won't let you until the countdown and only 1 day before while my friends on Steam and Xbone have all theirs ready to just start with a small patch.:( I'm raring to get going on this :gtpflag:
 
OK so on the 12th, it will be on psn, I can buy it with the extra goodies and download and play? Is that right? Or will it be on psn at some point and is not guaranteed on the 12th? It's got to be one of the two. Does someone no for sure? Thanks in advance

When the game releases I'm sure they will have the Digital Edition version which includes the Limited Edition and Modified Car Pack.

OK I understand it will be there eventually. So if I want to play it on the 12th, I need to get a phisical copy. Right? See that sucks because I don't own disk. Every game I have is digital.

What date did the game go gold? Count at least 8 weeks on from there then you'll have a rough US PSN release date.

As long as you set your false UK account as primary on your Ps4, you can the then play it on your Us account, without any problems

Yes it does work. You can make a UK account and download a free game and then see for yourself before you do it on a game that cost money. I tried it on a free game first just to be sure and it worked fine.

If you read the email from sony after purchase it says game will be available wef 6/5/2015 11pm, I guess they mean that as the pre load?

The game is then playable wef 7/5/2015 00:01 so if you can download it in that 1st hour you'll still be fine :)

Hopefully I'm wrong tho and it downloads sooner!

It says the 12th on the official PCars website. They didn't make it for the preorder digitally but everything must be ok with an NA release on the 12th or they would remove the date from their website.

It's going to take me hours to download 19gb
 
I got a feeling maybe it will download after the store has been updated today, but I could be wrong.
