Will you be buying a digital or hard copy of the game?

I guess it will show up on US PS Store after UK/EU release. I can't understand why these things happens, they're already losing lots of digital preorders 'cause of that.
Now I have a question, do Sony someway "stealing" money from SMS/Bandai with digital copies? It can be a good reason to make people buy physical games instead of digital.
It's just a thought, I don't even know how it works.
 
I think sony/Microsoft will take a similar amout of money that SMS would save on not actually having to make the physical copy.

Just looked at my wallet but PSN still have not taken my money, but you are a hour ahead of UK so will check back in an hour or so... The wait is so unbearable.
 
Just checked my wallet and the £45 is still there. I'm assuming it will be midnight before they will start taking the money as that will be exactly 2 days before release.

Will take me about 20mins to download it then I'll only have to wait 47 hours and 40mins before I can play the damn thing! :banghead:
 
Going to be the negative nancy here... I don't think there is going to be a Pre-order for Project Cars on the US PS Store. Whatever the reason might be. Likely just going to be a "Day 1 Digital" and have the game for purchase on the May 12 store update.

I hope I'm wrong.

But I'm ready to rage! :mad: haha. Going to dust off my twitter and let Sony / Bandai / SMS have it! :lol: Tomorrow. ;)
 
Just checked my wallet maybe my money is not good enough. :banghead:

Panic over its gone whoop whoop, only nearly four years of waiting is finally here.:bowdown:

If PC is not up on US PSstore by tomorrow, then guess I'll create a psn from UK just to buy the game
 
To me it's pretty lame the project cars website says available for pre-order but it's not on the usa psn store. If you click ps4 preorder link it takes you to error page. If I end up not being able to get the additional free content because it's impossible to pre-order that would be a disappointing start to the game.

Most likely a issue between SCEE and SCEA, sony need's to get there s*** together and get SCEE and SCEA on the same page.

Same thing happened for MLB 15 The Show, no pre order for Europe/Aus and no info about release date/special edition. I took a chance that it would be on the Aus store in the 1st update after launch,thankfully it was on the store at the same time as the US version.But just a little bit of info would have been nice.

So MLB 15 digital was available ON release day? Not before and no preorder? I'm pretty sure that is what is going to happen with Project Cars. :(

No preorder content for you US PS4 Digital purchasers. :banghead:
 
I've never been so pleased to have been charged for something!

On a separate note it's shocking how different Sony Europe is to America. For the game Rocksmith, Europe made a complete shambles of the DLC that took 5 months to sort where America had no issue what so ever.

You'd think they would both be ran the same as it just leads to frustration for one group of users when it goes wrong (which seems to be quite often)
 
So it looks like us in the uk may get it a hour earlier as we are being treated as Europe for the digital release but uk for the hard copy?

I guess the bank holiday yesterday messed up the delivery schedule for the hard copy and that's why it's a day out?
 
I'm curious if this is going to be like some other games that end up not being available for digital download on ps4 like how moto gp was for a while. It's unusual that it's not even listed in the coming soon list, where you can pre-order other games over a month early.
 
My wallet is empty too now :D has anyone an idea when it will be available to pre load yet in the uk? I will leave mine on standby I think just in case something happens later today :bowdown:

So here in Europe we often go to the US PS store and buy stuff with a second accont, because its much cheaper (€>$). So my guess is that sony don´t want to loose money so they wait till every pre order in Europe has been set (07.05) and then put it up on the US psn.

It's a good theory but the PS store only updates on Tuesdays, so if it's not there today it looks like there won't be a U.S. digital version.
 
This week's new movie releases are psn, but not project cars. I'm going to be sad if I can't get the bonuses cars, considering there isn't a crazy amount of different cars like gt. If there's say 50 cars an addition 10 cars is significant content imo.
