when ever i get into a vehicle and start to dirve i cant hear the engine but i can hear everything else

Can you here the tyres sliding around when you slide and can you hear other vehicles and pedestrians?

yes and i also just noticed i cant hear cj's foot steps or voice either

Have you tried turning the sfx volume up in the in game menu? If you can only hear the music from the radio, thats what it probably is.

Btw, do you like san andreas on pc? i'm thinking of buying it and i'd like some opinions. PM e what you think Thanks

I would say some of your sound files are corrupted, or possibly for some strange reason non-existent. Take a look in your San Andreas directory.

The best thing to do is find someone with the PC version of San Andreas and ask him to send you the entire SFX (I'm not sure of the name of the sound files folder, I don't have the PC version) folder, and replace that with the old SFX folder.

Other than that, it beats me. Does the game run fine?

I had a simiar prob with my PS2 so i took the disk out, cleaned it and it was fine again

This happened to my brother. it might be an issue with your sound card drivers. If you have 5.1, try running it in stereo and make sure to update your drivers, because GTA is in 5.1.
