I was thinking... fridays. Andrew is taking up the race weekend when NASCAR is not...
Lets see, Latavia, Denmark, America, Britain, Australia.... Wow. What works for you guys?

Friday evening, particularly odd weeks, should work 100% 👍 alternatively every other weekend at almost any time until Sunday 2 pm GMT

Oh, one thing, timing, do you just take the last initiated .1 second, the closest .1 second or do you go all the way with the 0.xxx seconds the GT5 timer gives you? Remember this may have an effect on who's first and who's second :)

1 am being an hour after midnight, unfortunately impossible. How long does ITCC take, in average?

The time I'm on still largely, if not entirely, depends on the weeks.

If that's the new proposed time we'd be in the odd situation that the start time of an event hosted by an american is slightly, literally slightly, too early

nascarfan1400
? no, in the whole US mainland thats 9a-12p?

Now it's my turn to ?

Let me say it like this: assuming it was to take place within 24 hours from next xx:00, my preferred time would be about 20.5-21 hours in, if run weekly :)

There is something I'm not happy with...

I'm doing some testing now and here are the results of three cars round 1 lap of Toscana:

Lancia Delta - 1:55'122
Peugeot 206 - 1:51'456
Mitsubishi Lancer Super Rally Car '03 - 1:48'453

So yeah, now I understand why I was losing all the time...

(all cars were run at the same specs, time of day etc.)

Hmm... Good Find. We are staying in beta with this. It may take awhile to fix this. But we should be able to start Round one by next week... I will look ino this in A little bit. Thanks, Ciro! Couldve been disastrous...

2: GTPlanet Username: FireEmblem10
3: Nationality: American, Eastern Standard Time (Pennsylvania).
4: Car: Toyota Corolla Rally Car '98 (Would have picked the Escort, and still will if I find it to be the better car. Was also thinking of running the Xsara Rally Car, but that's not on the list.)
5: Internet: Depends. Sometimes it's fine, other times it's unuseable. No idea what the problem is (it still happens even if no one else is using the internet.)
6: Rally Experience: Not much, as I've never participated in any GTPlanet sanctioned events or done any serious rallying in anything but the Xsara (but used to race in an informal series with a bunch of people from a different forum... using a MR2 GT-S as a rally car is absurdly fun and difficult at the same time.)
7: Preferred Time/Days: I cannot race Fridays due to work, or any days during the week. I'm available Saturdays from around 2 PM EST - 9 PM EST (7 PM GMT - 1 AM GMT).

Would it be possible if you show up Saturdays at Noon your time?

Depends. Usually I am working from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays (urgh:indiff:) but I work on every other Saturday (but then have school things to get done first...)

Hmm... This is so hardto do with everyone acoss the world. I know morten would be willing to wake up at 3AM his time for rally lol... Grrr. ITCC Is taking the ideal time away... then it goes on forever...

Not exactly 3 A.M., but unlike many others I can wake up before 10 A.M. on a Saturday

The way I see it, we have four options:

1: Find a time that works for the majority of people which will mean some currently signed will not be able to participate.

2: Say "🤬 ITCC group a/b" and host it at that time (as you said, that time is a good compromise most of the time)

3: Have this on beta until ITCC is over, then begin the championship.

4: Let it go completely. As in R.I.P. PTPRS/PTPRC

No, absolutely not, close this you will not! :grumpy:

DM, if you dropped group b and instead race in group a - in more than one way, option 2 could go perfect, without any drop-outs.

Fixed for you :sly:

You do mean Option 2, don't you? Option 3 is just a delayed version of 2.

Yes, sorry
I want this to end by GT6, so it may be shortened if we dont start this Saturday.
