Pokémon GO: Catch 'Em All in the Real World

Is having a bunch of Eevees a regional thing? Because in almost every gym I see, there's some type of Eeveelution controlling it. I even have a Flareon myself. But when I look at other people's Pokemon, they barely have any with no type of Eeveelution.

That's because the Eveelutions are some of the best pokemon in the game. Vaporeon, currently, is the best, unless you have a Mewtwo. But then how are you going to get Mewtwo candy?

So the released the official artwork for the team leaders:

Everyone is roasting spark and it's hilarious.
Also, i was right in choosing the team with the hottest leader.:P

I'm really mad that they actually released leader artwork. I was going to draw my own versions of each leader based on the silhouettes.

I'm surprised that Candela is dark. I thought she'd be a redhead. I like it though. Also, I thought Mystic's leader would have had on gaucho pants. Totally did not expect that to be a weird sartorialist lab coat.

At the gyms around here, I usually see Clefable (because they're pretty common) amd Vaporeon (for obvious reasons).

Simply because it has the smallest number of gyms conquered. Even at our place only 1 or 2 out of dozens of blue and reds.
Where I live, Instinct and Valor have most of the gyms. Mystic only has a few gyms.

So my math was wrong, I took a walk trying to get my 5 km eggs done, looked at it, got 3.5 or 3.9 km.
Looked at the map that I did for distance calculations, I thought it was on miles but instead it was on KM.

There's two gyms less than a mile away from my house and it's usually Instinct who run them. Valor put up a good fight sometimes though.

Personally, I'm Team Instinct myself, and I've found that when encountering other players when out and about nobody is hostile towards Instinct. We're just pitied instead.

Fought my first gym battle. Won. Gym battles are extremely easy even at 500 CP disadvantage. Didn't help though that I had no strong Pokemon to defend it.

Exactly, my jokes were out of pity, but hey you have the greatest Mascot ever. Battery Jesus. All hail in the name of Helix

To be fair, when Instinct Gym did shows up, the Pokemon that guards the gym are ridiculously CP high full of Gyarados, Snorlax, and one of Eevee evolutions.

So like that 1%.

Well I am glad I did my 2 km ones.
I got a Squirter I mean Squirtle. CP 421
Also got a Pikachu. CP 375
Both were from pokestops at level 15.

These are my most powerful pokémons. I also have a 2 km and a 10km egg incubating and 7 different 5km eggs.
Sunday I had a Magmar nearby but I couldn't find it and a bloody Charmander fled from me, so I only have two Bulbasaurs and one Squirtle. I'm yet to see a lot of pokémons.

There's a gym near my house that is a school in real life.

Just imagine how hard it will be for the people to defend it after the vacation period is over.

Should have made a post in here a while ago. I'm just a smidge from being level 16, these are my top ones but I've only caught 59/62 pokemon. I have 8 5km eggs and one 10km.

and my place of work is a pokestop, so that's pretty neat.

I should have added in my previous post that I only tested the app for a few days, but it is not that smooth for my phone, it drained my phone's battery and made me hit the data cap, which never happened before, so I dropped it.

I walked a few kilometers in every direction looking for some pokemons and I found next to none except for the initials, I selected a Squirtle because it was in the bathroom.

My local park aka PokemonLand had Valor in charge of its two gyms this afternoon. By the time I walked there to deposit reinforcements, Mystic showed up and dumped 4 cp2000 Snorlaxes on both gyms. What the hell is that, man. Snorlax has so much HP you can't even put a dent in him. It's ridiculous.

But how do you even get 4 Snorlaxes? They must be some major losers to do nothing but play PoGo.

I'm yet to get this game, and I'm pretty sure it's obvious for you to tell that I can't wait for Legendaries to pop-up. I will get my new iPhone 6S on my birthday and play the crap out of Pokemon Go when I get it. Which brings up another point - how will you get Legendaries? If you had to catch Mewtwo like the trailer suggests it will be utter mayhem, and that probably won't be the best option. I'm interested to see how Niantic handle this.

Trihardon? What did you have to do to catch that?

I just hit level 16 and well it's getting to the point where I don't really want to play anymore.
I got a pikachu and that's all I am happy for.
I just wonder if this game will continue or once school starts for everyone if it will slowly dwindle and disappear?

I'm wondering the same thing. I hit level 10 and haven't touched it in over a week and half now... Seems like a fad that's sure to die down to me.

They say once you hit level 20 the xp to go from 20 to 21 is like double than it was to go from 19 to 20.
Since level 19 -20 is 25,000
20-21 is 50,000
21-22 is 75K

Then you have some of those powerlevelers who are up in the 30s
Since latest one is 37
So 36-37 is 1.5M xp.

That's just bizarre to me! But to each their own I guess lol

With the lucky egg/pidgey combo you can level up quite a bit, just that a lot of people probably found that out early and is already at lease 20-25 by now so they need something to calm them down a bit until maybe they add more.

Im at Level 24 and haven't touched it in about 2 weeks now, i'll probably come back when there is alot more features but right now it's hit my interest cap.

I'm only level 8 and really want to play it more, but I just haven't got the time now I'm back at work. Last week while I was off work I stayed out until 4am catching Pokemon with a friend.
