Do you think the '1 Car Transfer Out per PS3' rule should be removed?

This '1 Transfer Out per PS3' rule has come into effect today courtesy of V 1.07 and PD. Of course, no need to mention the other rule.

I hate this rule and this certainly is a step too far. What do you guys, GTP make of it?

This 1 Transfer Out per PS3 Rule.

This rule incurs the following actions:

1) Only 1 CAR / 5 PAINT CHIPS can be TRANSFERRED OUT EVERYDAY FROM YOUR PS3 (NOT PER ACCOUNT)
If you have siblings / multiple PSN accounts then, this rule has to be shared where say your brother sends a car out, you cannot.

2) To make matters worse, the car has to be <1,000,000 Cr. (less than 1,000,000 Cr.) in value from the Dealership/Online Dealership/Used Car Dealership. A good way to check if you car is under 1,000,000 Cr is to go on my-granturismo.net

3) You CAN STILL ACCEPT as MANY CARS as you want a day.

I think it'd be better if you explain the rule in your post. For people who haven't looked through 10 different threads.
 
I share a console with my son, I want to gift him cars whenever I play - which isn't everyday. If my other son was interested - it'd be a bit harder to keep them both happy. No I don't dup by the way.

I think if they are going to restrict us to cars below 1 million credits, at least let us trade more than one damn car per day..

To be honest at this point I wish I could have every car in the game. Don't care about "earning" them anymore.
 
all they really need to do is fix duplicating of cars, thats the real issue, PD doesnt care if you trade(and i mean *really trade* you loose and get a car) over a million credits or more than one car from 2 accounts. they dont want people making copies of cars. im sure people will be mad at them when they stop duping all together to.

I hope his plotting for his next move is within the limit of CR 1,000,000, But will even more ability to send a vehicle up to 5x.
 
I too agree that it should be removed. As I've said before, the people who whined about "evil dupers" care just a bit too much about how other people play the game.

Maybe PD will notice the rage they've created with these two changes and get rid of them, recent news release notwithstanding.
 
The 1 mil limit isn't the big deal. It's easy enough to get the money together. The one car per day rule is what's going to kill trading. It's totally unreasonable. To be honest, I don't even car that much about trading. I do it with other people when I need it, but for the most part I go between several different ID's playing the game and it's more convenient to just send a car. Plus, my son and I play on the same machine and if we do want to trade with someone it screws us all up.

The vote is almost 3-1 against the rule. That alone proves it's a small vocal minority screaming about 'the evils of duping.' Kaz needs to listen to the majority.
 
Kaz did listen - that's why the 1,000,000 CR trading restriction has been lifted until next week.

I'm not crazy about as I have two accounts on the same PS3 not for duping but using to get double the credits off the seasonal events to buy cars . This keeps me a little more into the game instead of grinding the same old races . To me one gift a day per account worked fine but now one per PS3 is just crazy . Next they (PD) needs to limit our playing time to 2 hrs a day ! LoL

If all you're doing on the second account is buying cars to gift to yourself, then the one trade limit shouldn't really come into play, since the gifting is only going one way i.e. to your main account. I do the same thing.

No the one per PS3 a day does not bother me but the no gifting over a million amount does .
 
completely negated my many other 'sub-accounts' :irked: ; which i think is the point of this new rule. As has been stated before elsewhere, multiple PSN accounts by one person are against the 'rules' you agreed to, "that everybody reads" :rolleyes:
 
^Not if you use correct details. The b-day glitchers are the only ones who are really breaking rules.

Operative words - "until next week". He's just giving us time to wean ourselves from "evil duping".

If he was really listening, the 1mil limit and one car per PS3 restriction would be gone forever.

This just proves what I've been thinking. Ending duping wasn't the will of the majority, it was the will of a few people who blew the "problem" way out of proportion so that, to an outside observer (AKA PD), they seemed like the majority and the non-issue seemed like an issue.
 
I'd bet anything that a vast majority of GT5 players do NOT use any exploits and never will.

I think you'll agree that it's safe to say the membership of this site is split 50/50 on the issue. Now take the non-exploiting members of this site, and add the millions of casual gamers who don't go on websites looking for every way to cheat a game possible.
 
Yes, it should be removed. The limit is just a dumb fix to people duping and selling high-end cars on eBay. That wouldn't have been possible if there were a PROPER trade system and the economics in the game were right. But instead of fixing the REAL problems (e.g. fix the gift system so duping is simply not possible), PD are now screwing the legitimate users of the game (the ones doing legitimate trades and gifting) by adding MORE problems. 👎
