No matter what happens PD are like our Local Governments, things are put in place without our knowledge until it's too late. Now we all know When it comes to PD we can get things changed if we disagree enough but to what extent will those changes benefit all of us? Some may like it and some may not. I think that none of these restrictions put be put in the game as hurts us all Noob or Legend. My biggest gripe of this game is that AI slowing down in A-Spec races when you get by them, but thats for another thread!!

Because what else could it be slick? If you don't like duping there has to be a reason, and it has to be because you "think" you play people online who dupe. If there was no online content and ps3 had no internet connection you'd have no freakin clue on what other players were doing with there games and would have no idea if anyone was duping. And if you still cared this much about duping then because you thought players were cheating on their own ps3s which had no effect on you whatsoever, then you're just a giant d-bag/tool/clown, take your pick. So this all HAS to stem from online play.

And it does stem from online play. The ones complaining about duping are complaining because they're JEALOUS that either 1) they've seen a car online a bunch that is "rare" in their game/ucd, 2) they keep getting beat by a car they feel should be "rarer" than it is online, or 3) they see that a player(s) has more "rare" cars than them in their garage.

No matter how you slice it it boils down to the fact that these people have become JEALOUS or ENVIOUS over a VIDEO GAME. To repeat from before...THAT'S PATHETIC!

Regarding the ebay thing, I searched it and he made it up. His post about the $20 x1 was a few minutes ahead of mine so it's not like the ebay auction would have just vanished in seconds if it was as prevelant as he made it out ot be and he just searched for it a few mins before I did. Noone was selling x1s...he lied.

Regarding the lame ass comebacks. It wasn't a comeback, it was an arguement. So is what is above in this post. And that's your problem right there, you're too moronic to realize the difference between a comeback like "yo momma had a idiot for a child", and a well thought out arguement constructed in paragraph form. Keep trying junior.

I agree with this, but at least in the US, there aren't people on ebay just asking for money to dupe you a car and we need to stop making it sound like there is. The ONLY people online who are selling any cars to be used in-game in gt5 are the ones trying to sell stealth/chrome car dlc codes which is probably illegal and should/will probably be stopped.

But the notion that people are just trying to dupe you and x1 for $20 is ridiculous. I just researched ebay again and the only thing close, as mentioned before, is people trying to sell POSTERS of the cars they made in gt5 and they say they'll send you the car in-game as well if you'd like. It's not illegal, and it's the same thing that happens on ebay/other trader sites with sports tickets. Ebay won't allow high mark-up on sports tickets so people say "we're selling you this yankee jersey for $1,000 and you get a free pair of tickets to the game on x/xx/xx". Everyone knows you just want the tickets/car but it's not illegal this way and it's nothing to get worked up about. The chromline/stealth dlc codes on ebay however...might be.

They should block X1 trading, that's it. Other cars shouldn't be touched, but it's too late now, the X1 should have never been tradable since day 1.

As you know, GT5 isn´t USA-exclusive, so have a watch on german Ebay They sell every car out of GT5. You can´t find that much in US-Ebay, because Ebay noticed this problem and canceled all auctions. But here in Europe, the laws are a bit harder, so it isn´t that easy.

They could have at least raised the payout from A/B-spec events, but didn't. Heck, you can't even sell cars that are worth more than 500k new, why in the world is this limit there? And then not winning prize cars after doing a championship again?

Where are the manufacturer/one-make events?

In summary, at least let us sell ALL cars, remove the 1mil car value gift restriction (I can live with the one gift/console/day...). But from the looks of it, the 1mil limit is here to stay. Hoping for the ability to sell all cars in 1.08, not holding my breath though.

I understand that Part of the reason for this is unscrupulous people selling their duped X1 cars on ebay, Well that's easy to fix, Ban trading of the X1's and allow up to 5 cars to be gifted per day per account, Same for the paint chips, In fact, For Paint Chips, I think they should make it so that once you unlock *insert paint name here* you get unlimited uses out of it instead of saying to yourself "oh crap... I have a *insert paint name* and I daren't use it as I only have one "

Bottom line -> remove the 1 car Per PS3 rule and increase it to a MAXIMUM of 5 per account, not by PS3 system, but By PSN ACCOUNT

I think you guys are COMPLETELY right. Getting a new car for the championships&allowing us to sell our cars just like usual (thus making grinding simpler and faster, and allowing us to get ride of double/triple cars), making paint chips of infinite uses (as should have been on launch day) and banning the trading of the X1 and maybe some of the extremely rare UCD cars (that should have been the case on launch day, too, the X1 shouldn't be allowed to be gifted under any circumstances) would make the singleplayer and collecting aspect of the game a lot more attractive. I hate earning paint chips... because I know I'm gonna lose them sooner or later.

I hope PD rethinks this matter and finds a middle ground, because yeah, I hate seeing all kinds of noobs, casual and stupid drivers messing everything up with the X1 online.

I think it is a dumb rule. I have one PS3. My Son, Daughter and I, all have our own accounts. So, if I trade on my account, then basically I have just screwed my kids over from being able to do their trades. So if PD wants to make it so you can only do one trade on one system, then they should have a waiver to sign so that the other siblings get a ps3 provided to them by PD for free. I shouldnt have to buy two more ps3's just so that they can play the game the way it was intended to be played.

Now it is time to just sit back and relax and play the game like the old days when you had to buy all the cars and GT2 graphics were the best you have ever scene. Funnily enough they block by IP too. So you'd actually need to buy two more PS3's, and two more broadband packages too. What a truly blind action, implementing that rule was.

Also, if you are running 3 ps3 on a multi screen setup you will need all the cars that are on the server to be on client PS3's also, so i think they should remove the limit on gifting

This is true, and a step in the wrong direction. I have no idea why PD would do this. Racing the same track over and over again for cash is just not fun.

Honestly, I don't think PD is anywhere near done with this game. I can see them releasing new modes in future patches, perhaps aimed at the gamer who is like 90% complete and whose focus has become car collecting. I think that new races with 2m cr. in winnings is plausible.

Why else have a super license? Why have cars costing 20m in credits, when winning races rewards you with so little? I refuse to believe PD would make a game with such a broken economy, when they have a freakin sterling record when it comes to GT.
