i'm just curious about how many of us are still playing gt5 after nearly a year..

do you still play because of a wheel?

did you stop playing because your wheel has broken, and won't go back to ds3?

do you still play play gt5 with ds3?

have you reverted back to ds3 after problems with your wheel.

vote for what you would use to play competitively.

Played with DS3 from release to late June, then took a break for about 1 1/2 month...
Then tried again with G27... Love it :D

I'll never go back to a DS3 on GT5 now. :sly:
 
I've never had a wheel. I still play the game and I began the day it came out. I was still playing GT4 3-4 times a week until last November. Now, I play the game nearly everyday. Rarely go more that 2 days without doing something in the game. The only extended times off the game were when we were on vacation and when I was in the hospital.
 
wow. i have to honestly say i am very surprised by the outcome so far,, i really thought after nearly a year many of the player still playing would be wheel users. i for one only use the wheel i could never go back to the ds3..
i also play everyday.

the game has probably been out of the ps3 only maybe twice..
 
forgot to mention that I use a G25 .
can't wait to try it after the spec II update :D
 
I've played with my ds3 since day one. Played so much that I broke the plastic off around the analog stick.
 
i still play a lot w/ my g27 and now that it will have full support, i'll probably even play more...but only with a wheel; if my wheel breaks i'll buy another one, I'll never go back using a ds3.
 
Used sixaxis for 9 months, got Platinum using it.
Got a wheel 3 days ago - a totally different experience, never going back to pad again.
 
I play with both a wheel (a DFGT) and a DS3 (during late hours when I can't make much noise), but I prefer the wheel.
 
Got it on release date, & took a few months off after unlocking endurance events. Recently got hooked again. DS3 all day everyday.
 
My wife just got me the DFGT for my birthday yesterday.., and WOW! No way am I going back to the DS3. This game is SO much better with a wheel IMO.

The games been out of my PS3 probably 2 or 3 dozen times while I play DiRT 2/3 and F1 2010.



My DFGT has been plugged into my PS3 since the day I got it.

I agree, the game is great with a controller. But a whole new experience with a wheel
 
If I'm only playing for 2-3 races I use DS3, G27 when playing serious. When I got the wheel I only played with wheel for a month but when I tried DS3 again I was much better with DS3 than before I got the wheel. So now I use both.
 
I only use the wheel when I'm racing seriously, and if my wheel broke I wouldn't race as ots just not the same. The only time I use the DS3 is at night when I go on to TGTT for a mess about while I'm in bed :D
 
Tried a wheel back when GT3 came out. Hated the wheel. Never tried another. Still playing more than a few times a week, still using the trusty old DS3.

I'm considering a DFGT, though.
 
Currently I'm engaged in playing GT5 with only a DS3, had ceased using my wheel since the discovery of some trouble in connection. :(
