I have not run this, but I am keeping my Tommy Kaira ZZII stock in order to use in this series.

It has a great power-to-weight ratio for a street car, plus it has a lot of the racecar options like customizable trans, adjustable downforce, adjustable suspension, etc. It is very light so it is easy on tires, too.

I used a Mazda Rx-7 RZ with super hard tyres. I used this because all the cars seem to have simmilar bhp to this (280bhp)
I couldve used a slightly softer tyre compound. Im gonna try it again with a Honda NSX S Zero as well. If you want an easy ride you can use

Zonda C12 S
Toyota Gt0ne Road Car
Jaguar XJ220 Road car
Ruf CTR 2
TVR Speed 12

It took me about a week to finish this cup but it had to be one of the more challenging races.

You wont be able to use it because it has all the racing Suspension, brakes, downforce, transmission etc. GT3 counts it as a modified car. You have to have a car that has No adjustable parts although I think adjustable downforce in some cars (R34 skyline etc) is allowed.

Oh! I thought the competition cars were more powerful than that. If that's all they are I will probably leave the ZZII in the garage and use something more in line.

Hmm, I've heard differing reports on that. Admittedly, I haven't tried it. It's a moot point, anyway, because I'm not going to run that overpowered a car against 300-350 hp competition.

Thanks for the response!

ok thanks i thought the competetion would be more powerful than that. I'll probably use an RX-7 rz or somthing in that range. An oil change is allowed right?

I ran an Honda NSX Type S Zero - I figured since it was a long series so I might as well use something I enjoyed driving. On superhard tyres it was more than sufficient.

You're allowed an oil change and tyres.

first time through i used the TVR Speed 12, super hard tires. it completely destroyed the competition.

i think the PD cup will be the series i race again and again, with lots of other (lower HP) normal cars. that is, of course, after i mop up the rest of the endurances (im 98.8 % done).

ahaha i used the gt-one road version, easy as hell, i wanted to get the cup finished as fast as possible so i could get the f94/s quickly :)
i gonna try and use r390 road version now

Why not try something a bit closer to the field, say a Supra or GT3000 - make a fight of it?

Oh, okay - I read that as meaning you'd already done that. Sorry.

You should just use the save trick.

i got the f94/s in just 5 races (secret) but some people already know that secret
ha!? forget 200 laps.... 100 is better :)

Cool! I've got a nice virgin one of those (in blue) sitting in my garage. I guess I'll save it for the PD.

Hey man, Don't use any of those cars!!! Go with the Toyota gt-one road car. It smashes all of the other cars. u will win by about 5+ laps ahead of them. go with the gt-one

for your first time through, i say use a fast car, quit out of the races once u are ahead by a lot of points, and get that f94/s.

if u decide to race it again (because racing normal cars is fun) than i say go for a lower HP car. better challenge.

Some people actually enjoy playing this game, not just beating it...

I've run it twice, before I figured out the save trick. First time Xj220. I don't think it ever came close to 6th gear.
The second time I used the Toyota GT-one. I beat the competition like a drum. I put both of them on super hard tyres.

I am currently running it in (Got the idea from one of our members) a Lotus 350. on Hard tires. (not the super hards) Thus far I am pitting on lap 10-11-or-12. The race is closer. I have yet to lap the second place car.
And like Mr. P's wife, My Lotus 350 is a fast *****. (her words, not mine)
It's very fast, It handles great. Find the fast line and stick to it, You will slaughter the lesser cars.
I only had the Camaro outpowered by about 25 HP.
