Polyphony Digital’s audio team has given a new technical presentation on how Gran Turismo 7 makes its engine sounds, and the slides include photos of two cars being recorded that have never appeared in the game.

Wow, I know I may seem a bit base saying this, but I wonder if the cars shown (Evora, AMG ONE) is a sign of things to come...?

We'll do them in tandem buddy What a car to be added....if it ever does.

Is it me, or have the 'GT car sounds suck' chatter lessened a LOT/gone away with GT7? 🤷 I know I'm happy with 95% of the sounds. That 5% being the sound of tires before they squeal, usually, like the low level noises. Great article though, so much effort into the sound improvement was time well spent. They have some hella smart guys at PD!

Fun fact: the Evora engine is actually from a TRD Aurion which was only made in Australia!
