The GT3 RS is an even more powerful version of the GT3 variant available with a rear-wheel drive system that could boost its performance. However, the GT3 RS isn't the luxurious car that people would expect from a Porsche, being especially designed to be a high-power vehicle that could be easily customized and registered for racing competitions. The engine described the car's profile pretty well, the popular 3.6-liter Porsche engine being upgraded to provide 381 horsepower and a maximum speed of 190 mph. The 911 GT3 RS was refreshed in 2006 through a new model which incorporated a couple new technologies.
