From what I've read, it sounds like they redid all the models for FM4.

Redid the models but likely based on the same data/renders they had before. New skin on old bones.

Shot in the dark, but I am hoping for a 996 GT2. Tired of NFS being the only game to really showcase that car. A 993 GT2 is a great start, though.

I agree. The two cars revealed so far are excellent, but I would love a 356 or a Speedster, or an early 911. A 904 Carrera GTS would be epic.

Am I the only one who worry about an incorrect 997 model from FM3 that will not be fixed.

Especially this 997 turbo. The front of the car is too short, the back looks strange.

If they don't think the look is acceptable for the current game, they usually just drop the model altogether for the latest version or a similar version they already have. Since there is no 991 turbo yet the only option may be having the 997 GT2 and it might be seen as good enough.

I'd rather have both despite the turbo being the lesser accurate in looks, as well as having the 991 turbo whenever it arrives.

I prefer the 3.8 as then the 4.0 livery is easier to create and the engine can be upgraded to a 4.0.
