Not the best picture, but it's the last one I took of our family dog:

We had to have her put down today. She was 14 and developed canine dementia, which was getting worse and worse to the point where we had to do something. Constant pacing, panting, and barking, plus she became rather confused and disoriented all the time. We could tell she wasn't happy.

I'm lucky she settled down long enough for a couple final pictures.

R.I.P. Shelby.

This our newest little pet I found it on the side of the road whilst on my delivery round ( see how was your day thread for original post) . It weighed 110 grams on Tuesday and today it’s 155 grams .

I had to go to the original post to figure out what "It" was, but meow I know. ;)

The other day, I saw a guy walking with his dog. It was not really a puppy anymore but still a very young and incredible cute dog. I asked what brand breed it was.

He said: an Australian shepherd. If I would want a dog, I'd definitely consider getting one of these.

Spitting image of the dog I saw.

The first and eldest kitty in the group is Meow Meow, I know super creative name for a cat. :P She was stuck in a tree near our house and we rescued her. She's anti-social and scared of men for some reason, but still very loving and cuddly with me. My heads up display was perfectly on her head when I took this pic lol

Next is Nugget, he's about 2 years old, I rescued him after some cat left him with horrible bruises. He's super lazy and keeps making biscuits in the air. Still very skinny but he's slowly fluffing up.

This is Bunny, I named her that because she was a tiny kitten with half a tail and she hopped around like a bunny for some reason. The vet told me her tail damage had something to do with it. She ended up on my doorstep super hungry but very scared. After a few weeks, she trusted me enough to pet her and now she never leaves.

These two kittens are the new additions to the kitty trio. Named the orange one Nacho, and the other Chino. They are both super playful but they aren't gaining weight even after eating regularly, They also eat random things from garbage cans and tend to get sick loads. Their mom comes by with them but Meow Meow and Bunny start fighting with her badly, so I try and feed them in separate areas.

so last week was the roughest week of my life, two funerals over 3 days then 2 days later my 16 yr old "Cutie Bug" suffered a stroke and I lost her...

after a week of serious depression a couple of my best (human) friends showed up with this lil girl who needed a new home... so I suppose you could call her a double rescue.

Meet Loa'a (according to google translate atleast its the Hawaiian word for Lucky)
7 going on 8 weeks...

the note card I got with her claims her mother is full registered Pit and emotional support dog,
her father is listed as Pit/Cor. so far everyone who has encountered her seems to agree she seems more boxer-ish than pit.. but we'll see as she grows

Hey guys, thought I'd bring this thread back to life with a dog my wife and I adopted a month ago. His name is Lt. Dan. He's a Canaan breed and was originally from Jordan and rescued and brought to Canada after being found on the side of the road beaten and having his back legs intentionally cut off by someone. He's been through a lot and has had a very rough past but he's now settled in with my wife and I and is an incredibly sweet and loving dog that just wants to be around people that love him.
