We’ve been recently going round to our elderly neighbours who is alone and just had a partial knee replacement to bring food and a news paper etc. and to check on her to make sure she’s ok.

The doggo has now got into a routine of mum goes out first, he runs round and sits outside her door till mum comes back out.

My sleepin' on the couch buddy.

I've managed to semi-annoy my wife* by waiting until the curtain robots close at 5:15pm and then I feed the dogs. It took Fritter less than 2 weeks and now when the curtains start to close, she runs into her kennel for supper.

Pavlov mission complete. :D

* No, that's not why I was on the couch.

And a brand new bean bag, so of course Penny has to check the comfort level. She hasn't quite got the hang of the proper seating position yet but she seems to like it this way... just a bit annoyed (maybe embarrassed?) at being photographed.

And yes, she does lay on her back a lot, she even sleeps on our bed like that. In winter she's a tiny little ball though.

She looks like a little hooman.

I had noises coming from a cabinet, and on investigation found I had closed the cabinet door with the cat inside. It took me a long time to find her, because I heard the noise from another room, and it stopped when I entered that room. I'd look around, do a what the heck face, and go back to whatever. The noise would stay gone for about 5 minutes, and I'd come investigate. Finally heard the noise while in the kitchen!

The last time that happened to me it was a wardrobe, and I was 7 years old. The cat returned with 9 kittens and have birthed all over my mum’s nicely folded towels.

I tried to upload a vid of my cat drinking from my fish pond. I love the way cats drink, it always makes me laugh. Sadly videos can’t be uploaded so you’ll just have to imagine it.

Asking me to do a lot of work here.

One cat, Chipsie, dips her paw in the water and licks it, then after 5 minutes or so of that, she finally dips her face to the bowl and drinks. She also like to slap at the water for some reason, which is annoying because it has necessitated keeping, and frequently changing, a towel on the mat the water bowl sits on. Also, I had to replace the bowl with one of those that has the bottle that keeps it full, because Chipsie started whacking the bowl to move it around the room, which spilled a lot of water, and sometimes even turned the bowl over. The bottle adds enough weight she can't play with the bowl any more.

After the bottle-bowl went in Mazzie would climb on top of the bottle and actually reach down to drink, with his hind feet on top of the bottle and his front feet on the floor by the bowl. He'd just come back up when i got this picture, not fast enough digging the phone out.

I'm so glad Chipsie is doing well, tell her I said hello. Looks like she enjoys that hobby with the water.
