I may have lost my cat Blake. She mostly liked to live outside and has now been missing for about 5 days now. :(

Not to get your hopes up, but cats do have a tendency to wander.

Over the years I’ve had a handful of cats go MIA for weeks at a time, only to return like nothing happened. My current puss did a Houdini for about 6 weeks when we first brought her home. That was 8 years ago.

It can be due to environmental stress such as a new cat in the territory, moving house, or even hormones.

Keep an eye on shelters. If no collar, she may have been trapped as a stray. Many organizations participate in trap-neuter-return programs as an effort to control feral population, but even though she's obviously not feral she may have been trapped by animal control as a stray, rather than by TNR as feral; TNR trapped cats should be returned to where they were trapped. It's also possible a neighbor took her in, thinking she was stray. I've almost done that a couple of times myself, thinking the cat distribution system had selected me, only to discover that the cat lived down the street.

2 years ago I decided on a whim to adopt 3 pygmy goats to take care of my land and help with my mental health.
From back to front, meet Bunk, Jane and Clochette (Tinkerbell):

And this time last year, the herd inevitably got bigger...
As you can imagine, baby pygmy goats are incredibly tiny...

It's been by far the best decision I've made in years, goats are great at taking care of the land, cheap to maintain as well as very curious, affectionate and hilarious.

They're both very cute and look happy and chilled.
A good girl and a good boy clearly!
Carl reminds me of a Breton Spaniel my Aunt had, loved him.
Out of pure curiosity, may I ask why you shaved him?

Sure, I don’t mind at all.
Carl likes to roll in stuff.
He gets micro mats all over his body and large mats around his ears.
He gets hot or at least seems like he is hot all the time.
He actually loves it when I shave him down.
I do it 2-3 times a year for him.
Plus, he dries quicker after his baths.

Thought as much, I had a Saint-Bernard that had the same issue.
It was very hard to manage just by brushing him so a good shave was the best option.
Quite a few people had strong opinions about me shaving him of course...
I felt bad and wasn't too sure the first time I did it but just like Carl, he seemed to enjoy it a lot and it helped massively with the heat too.
As a side note, the speed at which his hair grew back never ceased to amaze me.

Anyway, thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

I have one that loves to nibble at the plastic wrappers. He's not interested in the bread, he just chews the plastic. Of course, the bread is ruined if I don't catch it immediately because it dries out...
