The Australian 300zx forum does a yearly calendar and I thought I'd have a crack at getting my 'Vert featured. Really happy with how these photos turned out. There's some more pics in my thread for those interested :)

That last one is full of win!! I love the red glowing centre badge. My MR2 one is green but I'd prefer red as I have an obsession with red and the car is red and it should be RED!!!

@GDII- I know! This ones a genuine Atlia panel that only came out in green but it's invertor died at some point and the seller switched it out for a red one. I'd been wanting one just like it for years and simply couldn't miss the oppurtunity to snap it up! Get a red strip dude, join the club! :D

I know it's probably a little bit rice-Y but I don't really care

Love the wheels on your zx, they suit it so perfectly. Great pics mate. 👍

@Hayden I'd love a red one but the MR2 ones only came in green. My car came with the red painted MR2 badge but I found this one for silly cheap so had to have it. It's far from rice-Y, it's 90s JDM awesomeness!! The R32 Skyline had one too but you probably already know that.

Whilst we're on the subject of optional factory taillights, I've noticed the ones on my car are different from those of a standard Skylark. Unlike these:

Which are the standard units, GS models came with lights that were slightly tinted and also featured Buick tri-shield insignias in the reverse lamps, like so:

If I'm not mistaken, so did the 300zx ones. I believe the previous owner put the centre panel in the oven to soften the glue, then pulled it apart and replaced the inverter and light strip after the original green one burnt out. Not sure if the MR2 ones are made the same way but it may be worth looking at :)

That might be possible. It's just a sheet of electroluminescent plastic under the MR2 logo so changing out could be done. If it ever stops working it could be something I do. It shows a silver when it's not turned on so not sure how it changes.

Closest my Corolla ever got to becoming cool, thanks to @GDII:

In my eyes a Corolla is cool. They may be mass produced cars for getting from A-B but they do it so well and are fun at the same time. Great first car to learn about cars. I did lots of work on my EE90 and learnt heaps.

BTW thanks for letting me borrow your cars boot space to transport the wheels and tires. Can't do it in the MR2.
