You know the funny or scary part of that, I'm sure your serious.

The bottom two and upper right cars are trash, but the upper left car is a very, very interesting vehicle that I've recommended in the past - it's a small minivan, the only one ever to be sold in the US, known as (among other things) the Eagle Summit Wagon - AWD, minivan size, and, best of all, practically free. It's losing its appeal, though, as AWD mid-90s Subaru Impreza wagons continue to depreciate.

You're a fool! The Beretta rules. I'm seriously getting a mint condition low mileage GTZ. Just can't find one that's perfect, yet. I might even sell the GS300 so we'll have room for it.

Z26's & GTZ's are awesome. They look sweet. GTU's look kind of goofy, though.

You know, it's interesting.

I make a lot of fun of you for being a damn hick, but you consistently prove, by liking the Chevrolet Beretta, that you ARE one. Yeah, the Beretta handled damn well - for a mid-90s Chevy. But when push came to shove, just about every imported car in 1994 could outhandle it and most American cars could out-accelerate it. Today, the only people who own Berettas live in the bad parts of large cities, have low-paying jobs, and don't maintain their Beretta (the Oldsmobile Alero is going down this road too). The Beretta proves its crappiness because the sedan version of the damn thing was the Chevrolet Corsica, one of America's Awful Sedans. It's total trash, and I don't understand why in God's country anyone - anywhere - would like it.

The only people? Err, no.
Most American cars could out accellerate the GTZ in '94? What, the Camaro, Trans Am, and Vette? Anyways, I couldn't care less. It's stil badass.

Slap a GTU wing on, and the Z26 & GTZ look effing awesome. The GTZ has a sweet 180hp/160tq 2.3 Quad 4. It's the first FWD I'd ever consider driving. Followed by the GTP, ITR, etc. It's a good looking, quick accelerating car. Fun as **** to drive too.

Depends. Do we all agree the 0-60 time is 7.7 seconds? Because I can prove myself right.

By the way, is Fred going to disagree with you about this?

Disagree with what?

Chris but performance wise would be totally re arragned, I go for performance over looks though.

most of the cars in the first post, are better looking in their stock form

i agree, the order would be totally different if it were performance based.I also prefer performance over styling but i put them in order from best to worst looking because this thread is about gorgeous cars not good performance cars.

Just because you dont like it doesnt mean its total crap ;)

It is total crap. Have you ever been in this uninspiring, slow, poorly-built trash?

We all know M5's are total crap though.

If that's a shot at me you're way off - after briefly owning an M5, I'm not the M5 fan I was on April 22, 2002.

the_cobbinator
The Pagani Zonda C12 doesn't look all that bad, better than the DB7, in my opinion.

ya, its a nice looking car.just not up to par with the others in my opinion, except the diablo which should be where the zonda is,oops.

You drive a ****ing C4 for christ's sake. I've ridden in over 6 of them, and none were 'poorly-built trash.' They were all really nice condition cars, and ran strong. The only problems I can think of is one's headliner was starting to sag, and one went through tires like you wouldn't believe - maybe it had something to do with a custom T3-60 turbo low output 2.3l Quad 4 set-up pushing well over 350hp on pump gas.

I would go so far as to say they were all nicer, higher quality, cars than this piece of **** Mustang I bought. The one you spoke so highly of.

$29900 and I'll drive it to you.

So, seven?

The best car being sold? What was so wrong with it, anyway?

And Josh, I can think of ten other American cars that could beat 0-60 in 7.7 seconds in 90-94.

For $2,000-$3,000 more I'll take an '02 Z06, thank you.:p

Smart ass. I don't know the exact number. I just now of at least 6 that I've ridden in because they're friend's cars.

It's got more problems than any other car I've ever owned. It stalls/dies without reason. I can be going 25mph through the neighborhood, or 150mph on the highway, and it'll cut off. The drivetrain is sloppy. The rearend clunks loudly if you don't shift/clutch perfectly. It vibrates at speeds above 80mph. It pulls to the right - no matter how may times I get it alligned. The engine makes a loud, annoying ticking noise. It's not the injectors, either. They're loud as **** too, though. It's from either warped valve guides, or the teflon coating comping off of the cheap ****ty pistons Ford used. The rearend leaks. The paint quality blows. Has orange peel. Thin spots in the paint. Bottom of the hood isn't even painted. Very rough, notchy T-56. Grinds going from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, but the Steeda clutch quadrant/firewall adjuster solved that. Bouncy idle - at any given time it will start idling between 250rpms, and 1,000. I'm sure I'm missing some. These are all problems that plague a majority of the '03/'04 Cobras. Ford should've spent a little more time, and money, with these cars. But, I guess that's what I get for buying a first run Ford car.

Meh. So, it's not the fastest car in the world. That's not why I want one. Obviously I don't want it to be fast, or I wouldn't be interested in a 2.3l FWD 4cyl. I want one because I love Beretta GTZ's.

I've driven several of these, one or two with excessive mileage, and this sounds like it's been driven too hard - too many performance parts, not enough break-in period, something like that.

It hasn't been driven 'hard' at all. Granted I have got on it quite a few times, but I've never powershifted it, done a burnout, etc. Besides, it's a modern day muscle car, with beefed up parts - it was meant to be driven hard. Well, I dunno, apparently not. Too many performance parts? Pffft. It's only got 463rwhp on a built/forged motor. None of the problems I listed are due to too many performance parts. the ticking is due to insufficient cooling to the 7th & 8th cylinders, or ****ty pistons. Not enough break-in period? Other owners who have waited until 10,000 miles to mod/drive it hard have the same damn problems. Then there are the few that took 'em to the strip day one with no issues whatsoever, or so they say - I think they don't like to complain about a car which they just dumped $35,000 into. Not me, I'll ***** about every little thing wrong with it.

Anyways, I've driven three of them that have been lightly modified like mine, and they've all had the same issues/problems I had with mine. I drove a stock redfire vert. at Palmetto Ford, and with 47 miles it had all of the problems except for the leaky rearend. It even had the infamous tick, at 47 miles! I just recently drove an '04 screaming yellow coupe with about 300 miles, and it too had all of the problems save for the tick, and rearend leak. All I can say is go to the '03/'04 Cobra websites, and do some research. You'll see that 75% of threads are from owners *****ing, and that these cars have a ton of problems.

M5Power
...because you're a hick.

Well, I have owned Camaro's, Trans Am's, and now... a Mustang. I guess it's official now, and I really can't argue.

Oh, and to add to the thrill of owning the wonderful Cobra, it shredded the eaton belt the other day under normal driving. It even destroyed the lower steel idler pulley. Fun fun! $26,000 and I'll sell it, and everything else I have for it, to you. All headaches, and problems, included.

Edit - And another thing. Cobra's have ****ty resale value. I've seen some with the same mileage as mine(8k, now) going for $22-25,000. That's $10,000-$13,000 off the original price. Hell, I'm losing close to $7,000 by selling it to my Dad for $25,350, or whatever the hell it was. **** it.

this car is more of a subjective opinion. I've always been a fan of the older M3's and their art cars were really REALLY cool:
