What do you mean with different line up? I am not native english speaker and I understand it as different opponent cars. If thats the case I don't know how to change them, I mean I play the seasonal event with the last race where I have to beat Zonda and McLaren in 1 lap.

Just exit and enter the race again. The cars in the race won't always be a mclaren and zonda. Sometimes you will get a ford GT or a gtr lm race car, which are slower and easier to beat

Yeah he meant different opponent , just leave the race and load it again and a different lineup will appear :)

Practice and the right setup. The most important things are to stay on the track, and don't get stuck behind other cars

Also make sure you have a fast enouph car too. Try a Super GT car or a Detuned LMP car.
 
For the LMP the best ive found was the lineup with the GT-R LM as leader, followed by the McLaren. Its abbout 5-6 restart.


Had a few minutes free and ran the 2D again, still working on a clean lap but got a 5:57.839 with the first car lineup.

Just did a 6:24.933 in the Vertigo. On my third lap. First 2 laps = epic fail trying to pass. Driving that car on the Ring makes me sweat. :crazy: My biggest love/hate relationship in the game. :lol:

Got a tune for that or was that just stock settings?
 
Bought a new tv saturday and tried again, i'm now 10-15 sec slower ea lap with this tv, Need to learn it again! :(

Then i bought a nissan r390 gt1 race car, nice ride, tricky, but i drove 6mins 20 with it, didn't touch the downforce yet. I think you guys can drive now fast very short or maybe even under 6 mins with it

I can get 6:05 with my R390 Gt1 tune. It's fast in a straight line and not too bad around the turns either, but I haven't driven other R390 tunes yet, or other fast cars. This tune could run faster, but I don't know about ~5:50

In my sig ''spreadsheet link'' , you will see the fastest LMP in some categories, to see stock without any change on settings, with stock tires, go in racing/non-production all stock, for stock LMp but using racing soft tires and tune allowed go in racing/non-production, and for all out power and tune go in Tuned category. :)

I will try to run some cars again tonight,

I'm sure this doesn't need to be said but I left time on the table. I had 1 4-wheel off and ran into the back of a car as usual. And my usual assortment of missed apexes...

I passed the F1 on Dottinger. This car reached 217, and wasn't topped out. Holy battery power.

Disclaimer: These tunes suit my driving style (spastic). YMMV

Well I'm not trying to be a tuner. Just posting my times. Since you asked about a tune for the Vertigo I just included the Citroen.

For comparison I ran the Citroen in practice mode at full PP and got 6:15.199. I don't do this car justice. Who am I kidding? I don't do any car justice.
 
Done with the Chaparral 2D :), theres more in it but i want to drive something else, it did 5:56.523 but id say 5:54s totaly possible, i been slowed down by the traffic and it was not a very clean lap.

Heres the tune, its more neutral vs the stock tune, if you push too much the bad habit of the car will come back though.

I will try with a stock Bentley Speed 8 Race Car. It is amazingly good even in it's stock form.

I have a good setup for it, if you are interested. But I will not have access to my ps3 for 5 more days
 
Tried some different cars to see, not tested to their maximum, but just to give an idea, got 5:58 with the Diablo race car, it can probably do 5:55/5:56

5:59 with the RX7 LM with some ballast, 765hp, lot of power but weird handling, the front is very light, not so fun to drive...

5:51 with the Furai using a new tune with more ballast and more power, it can do better will test this one again later, id say 5:49...

How about the FTO Super Touring Car? Try that. I don't have one but I am sure it can run sub 6
