i managed 302mph in my espirit V8 it is a very basic setup i think it can go faster with someone who knows what there doing. it was not done on the max speed test just around the test track dont know if it still counts.

when doing this you need nitro on full.
accelerate till the first corner. hold it in 4th through the corner as soon as you come out of the bend release R2 and press nitro you should reach 300 just before the 2nd corner on the test track.
I have clocked 251 mph with an Evo both on Test Course and Le Mans. Point is, Le Mans' strech is longer, but there are so many dumps and humps, so you wont get more than on Test Course sadly.
Be cautious there, BBB. daan wasn't being an ass, and while he may have been curt, he was not being rude. Calling a moderator an ass or rude when they are merely doing their job can get you the E-ticket to the cornfield.
I take it you must be new to forums, and not just the GTP. Nearly every bulletin board provides one with the capability of editing one's post (the only exceptions, to the best of my knowledge, are mega-BB's like msn groups and huge gaming sites like GameFAQ's)

1. What is the fastest car in GT4? Rules: No modifications of ANY kind can be done (ie the car is purchased/won and sent to Test Track with no alterations of ANY kind which includes but is not limited to HP upgrades, transmission alterations, downforce alterations etc)
2. What is the fastest car in GT4 with additions of ONLY NOS/Muffler/NA Tune/Turbo/Intercooler etc Rules: No modifications to the transmission or anything else only HP boost is allowed.
Woohoo. I pulled a 323.19 MPH in a slightly used Toyota GT-One Race Car aided by a long nitro burst. It has a little over a 1100 HP. It can consistently run at 321, but that extra 2 MPH must have been helped by a tail wind. Does it have any more? I'll have to give it couple of extra wax jobs and find out. Top gear is not maxed out, but I don't think it can pull a smaller ratio.
