Their estimate seems about right. Either way, I would reccomend nothing less than 400w for most modern pcs

Not from Antec I don't think. There are a few other fanless psu's out there. I've been looking into them for my next rig (I'm hoping to begin that project once summer rolls around)

SilenX 450w iXtrema Pro Black S-ATA D-Molex 14dba PSU - sure, it has a single fan on it... but it's a silenx fan - those things are almost completely inaudible from more than a few inches away. BTW, this one is in canadian dollars

idunno, which system are you talkin about? It reccomended something like 280w for mine. Seems right considering how outdated my equipment is.

Also, keep in mind that the thing doesn't factor in the power consumption of overclocking and whatever it is you may have done to that poor computer of yours
