I've tested the car on Nordschleife with some 60 kg ballast and full weight reduction at 600PP with Sport medium tires. It's a fun agressive option to drive , , performance is just good , but not a top 3 600PP .Let's say a top 10.

Edit: I'm ok today , flu is almost gone. 1 week without going to the beach , i'll go there tomorrow for a swim taking some waves and let the salty water finish the job. ;)
If its the flu thats going around this year I just had the same thing. It was a rough one. Glad you are feeling better!

I haven't the talent for tunes like Praiano, but this might be a good starting point for the Sierra RS 200. It's probably best detuned to 600pp, but I enjoy it at 700pp with this setup.

i also like this tune.very balanced and very predictable.i just wish it has more top end speed for tracks that had a lot of straights like lemans, so that winniing there will be a lot more easier 😅

First test carried out at Le Mans with the BMW M2 competition 700pp.

I used Praiano's BMW M4 tuning.
It works perfectly despite complicated weather conditions.
I'm sure the maestro will still be able to MAGNIFY it! I rode through the gears quickly and was able to complete 3 laps in FM6.
Did a 4.05:xxx in the first lap.

Hey Master Praiano, i tried this, but something is wrong with it, when i get into the hairpin it just wont turn right, like it blocks the turning and trys to go back left, can't explain better, i just can't get around the turn.

You don't need all the engine tuning part , it was just to test the car at 600PP (Not good IMO)

This update 1.34 is a 550PP instead 600PP . It's a better car at this level , perfect to race the Nordschleife with a couple of friends. My tip , race it against
Alpine A110 Group 4 '72- 550 PP - Sport medium Tires - All Track - 1.31
Renault 5 Turbo '80 - 550PP - Sport Hard Tires - All Tracks - 1.31

Exactly the same pace for cars with very differents behaviors.

Very fast on Nordschleife at 600PP , 7:10 in my hands. Same pace as Audi TT Coupé 3.2 Quattro '03 there.
It's ok on Tokyo with Sport Medium but it's just a medium performance 600PP car there.
Tested also on Le Mans maxed with this setting , can do the job , good car, but needed more power for sure.
I recognize this car now, it used to be known in the UK as the Ford Escort. My cousin had one and used to drive it like a maniac through the English countryside. (Scared the crap out of me) His had a V-6 that put out lots of power. It was kind of the British answer to the Ford Mustang. I was living in the UK for a while, so we used to see lots of these. I think it inspired me to buy a Mustang after I moved back to Canada.
So, I bought a used 1970 Boss 302 back in the eighties.
That kind of inspired me to start racing!

The Escort is a completely different model to the Sierra, they did make an Escort Cosworth which came a few years after the Sierra RS Cosworth. Neither would have had a V6 although there were a couple of Sierra models which did have V6s, XR4i and XR 4x4 I think. The Cosworths were highly tuneable, my dad had an original RS Cosworth when it came out in 86 (the one before the RS500) which was tuned from a standard 204BHP to 340BHP by a company called Mountune who used to build a lot of the engines for the race and rally teams but it wasn't unheard of for Cosworths to be pushing out well over 500BHP.

A 1970 Boss 302-excellent! That should be in GT7.

Yeah the Focus replaced the Escort, whereas the Mondeo replaced the Sierra... the latter being a bigger car (iirc).

Yes, it should. I took mine in to a guy in North Vancouver who raced one in Trans -Am races, and I got him to set it up for a track car. He seriously souped it up also, I could lay rubber in the first 3 gears with no effort! That would be the right car to put in GT7, not the 429 which nobody had, and nobody wanted. I ran one down at Seattle Intl. Raceway, it could hardly get out of it's own way. That Boss 302 could give the Posches fits in the corners. (Porsche:" Hey, what's that Mustang doing, dogging us in the corners")

Oh, thanks you guys, the car just seems to have that Escort look and it rang a bell. My time in England was pretty short living in Aldershott.
military being any chance? big base used to be there... **** football (soccer) team/stadium too.. :D

The big block street cars were made so they could be raced. The Boss 429 was primarily for NASCAR. Great motor, seriously de-tuned for the street. Rare car.

To add a bit of info to your post, the Escort RS Cosworth (aka EsCos) was built from a Sierra RS Cosworth 4x4 floorpan, as the Escort inherited the YB engine and transmission from the Sierra, although upgraded. I saw pictures of some Sierra RS Cosworths with V6 cosworth engines, but those Cosworth V6s were swapped form the Scorpio V6 Cosworth. One of neighbours had one, the engine was codenamed BOA and was an evolution of the V6 Cologne block.

Yes, you did recall correctly.

You are right Praiano, with the Sierra you can win at Tokyo, it was close but i won.

Whats wrong with ur controller?
Use ur controller bud, came third with it and I was being lazy put gears on auto, nice bunch of creds as the give u both 2nd and 3rd places creds so I'm assuming you'll get all three if u come 1st. It's a challenging race too as u have to think about fuel mapping and weather, which is a rarity for daily races, I only wish they'd do more GR1/2 races on the weekly daily races.

Superb, @praiano63! Much appreciated. Are you working on the M2 next, by chance?

As per my response to live25, I'm not your average use case. I'm getting a Tgt2 tomorrow so will wait until then. Looking forward to the fuel mapping and weather changes as it will give me an excuse to use the wheels standout feature 🤔😁

Following the 1.26 update the Silvia gr4 can now accept the 3.8l Nismo engine. Using just the racing exhaust, filter and manifold it can put out 699bhp. With all the other parts maybe 1000? Looks like it could make an interesting play thing with a bit of attention.
