Prize Cars in GT5

I hope there is more incentive to re-do the same events more than once, have a single fixed prize for me takes the incentive away. In GT's 1-3 I used to re-do events many times on occasion so I would get all the possible prizes. In GT4 there was no incentive and on occasion I found it pointless to re-do events other than to just graft for credits.
 
Fair to say the F2007 will either be the nurb 24 hours prize or the F1 championship? assuming they return that is.
 
Hopefully unlike in prologue you will be able to sell them.....
 
I only sell them if I get duplicates or don't like the colour.

I wouldn't mind having the prize wheel returning, only make it so you have to win one of each prize cars for that event 1st before you win a second of a car.
 
Wouldn't it be a hoot if the last championship on campaign mode (GT mode) has rewards you with the Suzuki Liana or the Chevy Lacetti as prizes :D

I like that idea alot! I wasn't that lucky with the wheel, had to run races a few times to get all the cars!👍

I think that the prize wheel was the single worse feature ever in any GT game. Random prize awards is a bad game design idea. I hope I never have to see it again.

Seriously, does anyone really want to do a 24 hour race and then get the wrong prize car?

Perhaps four prize cars per event based on A-Spec points would work? One car for 1-50 points, a second car for between 51 and 100 points, a third car for 101-150 and the forth car for 151 to 200. That would make car collecting predictable.

That's if A-Spec is in the game of course.
 
Yeah, I think youl just get conspets most of the time. I remember GT4 I think it was you do the skyline event and they gave you the LM version what was ****.

👍 Agreed. In GT4 I rarely re-ran events because there wasn't really anything to draw me back. Unexpectedly, I spent most of my time in GT4's arcade mode, unlike in GT3 where I would re-do events hoping to get a different prize car to the last time I ran the event. Although it was frustrating at times, not getting the prize you wanted, it was so exciting.
 
I would think that the "Big Boy" cars like the Enzo, FXX,ZR1,etc will be prizes for winning Championships.

A cool thing would be if the prize car came in a blank white color, leaving the livery up to you, if PD really implements it
 
bit off topic but there is a big dfrence between the f50 and the FXX ferrari zo i wouldnt be surprised if the fxx is a car u can win in the ferarri event

that would make me laugh for hours on end! and imagine the torrent of hatred there would be for PD on youtube comments

I think a Daimler-Chrysler Wagon would be funnier.
 
I hope GT5 has Rotational Price cars for all ending events (whenever you win a car) Even for the 24h racing.. That way Special cars will be super hard to get unless you lucky. So that way ONLINE GARAGE sale would be fun to just buy some of the Prize cars rather then race 10 times in row the 24 race and winning 4 out of 6 cars !
 
I don't like the idea of not knowing what I will win. Like with the GT3 carousel or rotational price cars.

Knowing which cars I can win will help me develop an strategy or a path to follow.

And if someone doesn't want to know and want to be surprised he can just ignore any guide out there and play blind.
