Seeing we only have the Radbull, we might not get any other Mazdas. We didn't get any other Mazdas in PC1 DLC. I say we have a better chance of getting more Hondas and Toyotas over Mazda.

Yes, I would say it's more likely we see more Hondas and Toyotas before Mazdas. Other than the Radbull, SMS haven't featured any Mazdas since Shift 2. Though I do believe if we were to see any Le Mans Mazdas, it would be the 787B over the 767B, based purely off the assumption that it seems SMS primarily goes for the cars they want in the game, and secondly fits them into a class they could or should be in. In any case, whatever new cars come to the game, they'll be welcome additions.

They should split that class up anyway IMO so the 962 Longtail etc can race amongst themselves and not with the other regular Group Cs.

I wish the 1994 Le Mans winning #36 Dauer 962 was included. Think that would better suited in a one make series over the group C longtail version. As it really was in a class of it's own in GT1 at the time over it's supposed competitors. Or maybe the super rare, road going version, to bump up the road car count? But more obscure cars from other manufacturers would be even more welcome. Since the EA/Porsche agreement has ended, the floodgates have opened and I think Porsche is already well represented.

Wish some GT2 cars would get included in the game, especially from that era. Like the Alpine, Venturi 400, Lotus Esprit or Honda NSX and a few more of the less remembered models.

I would love a group of old muscle cars, like GT5 had. Old Barracuda's, the only Charges and Challengers. Mach 1's, etc.
I rather have racing version of these cars. Either add them to the vintage GTA (Camaro, E type, Daytona etc.) or have a Trans am series. I saw a full field of 60s and 70s trans am cars race at the Lime Rock Park historic festival, and it was AWESOME! (AMCs, Darts. Challengers, Camaros, Mustangs and way more.) I really hope these cars can be added.

Agreed, that would be even better! :)

Yeah, I would love to see some classic Trans Am race cars come of PC2. I really would love to drive Parnelli Jones' Boss 302 Mustang.

Agreed!

Hopefully with a good range of liveries including the Dan Gurney version plus the Alan Moffat (Australian) and Frank Gardner (BSCC) versions. Here 3 time BSCC Champ Frank Gardner battles with a couple of Camaros, a BMW, a couple of Minis and a load of Escort Mark One's. Just need to add a classic Mini to the game along with a Boss Mustang!

A complete Trans Am field would be great as well - hopefully not prevented by licensing issues.

From one of the leaked pics, I so thought the #66 Mustang had green graphics. They're dark grey.

I get a fiesta vibe from some of the tri-color liveries.

This game would benefit well with some can-ams but perhaps that will be saved for PC3.

We are getting a Can Am Porsche 917, but I don't think there is much chance of it having a competitor unless we get a 1972 Ferrari 712 - wouldn't it be great to get Ferraris biggest ever engined race car with a seven litre V12! The Fun Pack was the opportunity to add some Can Am content from McLaren or Shadow to go against the Porsche so I agree with you it's more likely in PC3.

Discussion: The future of the Touring Car class

With further updates we may see more cars join that class and fill up like SMS has done recently to WRX by adding two more cars seen in real world competition. Personally I liked WTTC/BTTC style over TCR because it includes RWD cars. RWD vs FWD is a fun battle to see play out and unfortunately TCR is all FWD.

Would you like to see more RWD "WTTC" spec cars joining the Touring Car class to even out the drivetrain disparity of only have one or could SMS rework the classes to put the BMW in another class with other WTTC cars while also adding TCR cars to the Touring Car Class. I follow these threads a lot but I've never seen a single mention by @IanBell or @The_American of classes changing.

It's a mash of BTCC/WTCC/TCR. Many of classes of cars are just out of scope for certain classes. I'd rather the option to enable/disable cars from classes.

This is what I want most for custom Online Championships. The Nissan ZX-T GTP must die!

I would appreciate never having to race against the Funhaver again. It's to a point where I'll run the (inevitably) leading AI Funhaver off the track if I get a chance, preferably into a barrier.

So weird. This game has the 2002 and Escort. Assetto Corsa has the GTV and Escort. Gran Turismo(6) has the 2002 and GTV. Can't any of these top console games get all 3?

Judging from DLC we will get, there is no place for Touring Cars unfortunately. I would love to see some more Touring Car Variety :( Maybe after the season pass we will get something more with Touring Cars.

Which of the Group C cars are naturally aspirated/don't use a turbo?

Edit: Nevermind that, I'm really just curious which is easier to drive over others.

That's actually a question I wanted to ask, Will we get dlc in between or after the season Pass? I know we are guaranteed 32 cars coming but will there be more possibly?

To be honest we don't know but i hope after the season pass ends that we get a more bit more DLC at least before SMS moves on. Project Cars 2 would be awesome with more racing cars like DTM, vintage, group c, LMP1 and many more from past and present.
