I almost don't care what SMS do, but... If they are reading,... Please, do not delete GR.A. DO add the GR.A R32 GT-R in as many liveries as you see fit. As well as GR.A Mustang, Volvo and VK & VL Holden Commodores. :D
I agree. I love the Group A TCs. They're fantastic to drive. I just want more like the Audi and the Alfa.

Haven't been following anything PCs2. So forgive me is this has been ask before. But any chance that pc2 will have Ferrari?
It's been answered on the Q&A they had and I put it in the first post. They've been talking to them. That's all we know.

Will be nice if Porsche comes for pCARS 2 as well, Ruf is still missing at current build (along with a few others manufacturer).

I've seen Assetto Corsa getting a Porsche expansion. Maybe it's the end of the exclusive license of EA. :)

The AC announcement stated that they would be the exclusive multiplatform Porsche license (and also that AC would be used in Porsche showrooms as part of the deal).

So while Forza (and perhaps GT?) will also have Porsche, pCARS 2 is looking unlikely.

Need for speed have porsche and they're multiplatform.

Au contraire...:)
That'll teach me not to read all the forums to which I have access, lol.

The exact quote was: https://www.gtplanet.net/kunos-secures-porsche-dlc-for-assetto-corsa-arrives-autumn-2016/

Marco Massarutto, Executive and Licensing Manager at Kunos, had some interesting words to share about the partnership:

“I can’t describe how proud we are about this partnership with Porsche, and how exciting it is to bring back the Brand in the simracing world. This Fall, Assetto Corsa will be the only multi-platform title to have the Porsche brand in a genuine racing simulation.

The gamers, and our fans really want to have the chance to DRIVE the Porsche cars in a realistic manner. It’s a privilege, and a big responsibility for us. We are working closely with Porsche with the aim to reproduce each single model with the maximum accuracy, and the fact that the same simulation will be used at Porsche race centers will push our team even more to provide the best Porsche virtual experience ever.”

So basically in Autumn 2016 AC will be the only multi-platform title with Porsche. 2017+ is a different story.

Probably won't start hearing stuff about this game until the beginning of 2017 maybe. I can't wait to see what they got in store. The hints that the WMD guy's are throwing out there is getting me excited. Buy anyway, I'm goanna continue to enjoy the heck out of pcars1.:)

Indeed, the implication is that AC got the new post-EA multiplatform license.

Ian Bell also said they would have an announcement "very soon" regarding what he can't yet talk much about. Not sure how soon "very soon" will be but the signs are finally starting to look very good for both simulators and semi simulators like Forza and GT.

I think it could be great if we can drive Porsches in both Assetto Corsa and Project Cars 2. Hopefully it will help drive sales for both games.

My personal fave would be the 1974 911 RSR 3.0 but with the risk of this thread becoming a car request thread pretend I didn't say that ;)

Edit: not sure what I screwed up with the quotes there.

As a fan of semantics and subtle nuance in text and speech, I read the AC announcement with a little smile on my face. Whether he specifically intended it or not, Marco gave the impression of exclusivity while at the same time creating a very limited set of circumstances in which they have exclusivity. "This fall", "multi-platform", and, "genuine racing simulation" are the key words. None of that wording prohibits any other popular franchise from having the Porsche content, not even PCars1 if they release the Porsche content in the new year for example.

It's great news for all sim racing fans!

That's exactly what I took from reading that quote & I share the optimism for Porsche coming to various titles.

@Spooky Wooky hopefully some Touring Cars (BTCC from the 90's hopefully) and a proper, working pit crew, not ghosts, and of course a custom championship option! That was planned for 1 as far as i understood, but then not implemented in the end. Fingers crossed for next time round.

Actual track/car licenses are something which will only be clarified near to release, obviously.

Custom championships for.......wait for it.......online. I know that the CRAP guys and other racing club's and leagues like to have a mini championships sometimes. It would be cool to have that. The ability to choose 3, 5 or 10 races and have the ability to set the point structure up. Like how many points can this person get for finishing in this position and etc.... But anyway that's some of the stuff I would like to see for online.

I still dream about a complete set of touring cars, and that 1 pit guy is getting tired doing it all on his own, solely using telekinesis.

I still think that sole pit crew guy and the only Touring Car in Pcars1 (BMW 320 TC) should get together sometime and pro-create.....That way for Pcars 2 all our dreams would/could be answered!!:lol:

While not being able to confirm anything, you know that CRAP pCARS has it's own on the inside pushing (along with other members) for these sort of features and much more.

I'm not sure the BTCC licence will be possible as it's very complex so don't hang on to too much hope there (although obviously I could be proved wrong). However, there are plenty of other very valid alternatives that could be explored.

I'm not fussed which series, just 3 or 4 evenly matched cars.

I think I'm most surprised there was no Mini and Datsun 510 in PCars. Would have fit perfectly against the Escort.
