I just hope we'll still see the effect of camber in the force feedback. Cause no matter how perfectly aligned a car is, its weight will make it want to go down the 'slope'.
I think this would really impact the way we feel the road below the car in the game, as well as being able to feel its weight and how the weight is transferred in the car.
So yeah, I think its a crucial part that is not implemented yet, and something iRacing does have currently.

I made a post about this in AJ's thread a couple of days ago. I hope to see some response about it, but no luck yet. The guy must be in his cave again. lol

I'm so behind! But I'm getting back up to speed, in the meantime have some eye candy:

Wow you're so witty and hilarious, please continue.....or not.

Well you're going to need to be a little more specific? Which card?

Ahh well running a Titan (see sig)

Here are the settings (custom res for monitor frames) Question is what gives the best fidelity with Anti-Aliasing: SMAA etc?

I could be wrong as I've not tried them myself but I believe the downsampling options give the best results. I'm not sure if that would be the best with your high res though. Probably best to ask on WMD.

Wow. A bucketload of fantastic news within the last hour or so. Not gonna spoil anything before the official announcements though. :D

Sometimes I'd so love to copypaste those physics thread posts here too to open up little the great effort what is being done. Rest assured - great things will happen to the physics these near months! :D

Yeah, the other news were truly awesome too!!

Some physics updates to the tire model and updates to the FA/FB tires.
So what does this mean? Well, soon, the grass will be slick. The sand will be sandy. Wet track will slip more. Tires will overheat and feel overheated. Etc.

Just a word to say that I don't want anyone to underestimate what AJ is doing here. He's a humble chap and not one to blow his own trumpet but this really is a few steps beyond what any of the competition have implemented in a commercial game to the best of our knowledge. This really is taking things to pro simulation levels.

On that note, we're now in touch with an extremely experienced F1 racer with a view to bring him in to help polish the FA and FB tyres and handling.

Yes, the boss just gave his ok to share the info:

SMS is now offically a PS4 developer! Means: Next gen versions of pCARS will be started soon.

And the FSA situation will be finally cleared within the next days with only slight modifications to the original model.

Not only is the game I most want to play months off in the future ..so is the machine I will use to play it on. My sense of instant gratification is going to need some sanding and a new paint job after all this is said and done.

Will one be able to purchase a toolpack when everything's cleared?

So when is this due out? and do you know if its a cross format release if this gen/PC then next gen after?

Glad to hear its on PS4 tho, I guess The Last of Us is probably going to be my last PS3 game! XD

So, now I can stop checking this thread every day in the hopes of catching the new member signup amnesty weekend announcement hinted at months ago before the FSA investigation?

Well, I hope all of you members help keep the devs on track to put out a polished finished product for me to check out next year. I'll have to settle for Assetto Corsa to keep me occupied until then.
