Every good project manager has to know when to stop adding things and just get on with what they've got, otherwise we'll just end up with Project CARS Forever being released in 2025!
SimonKIt's going to be weird not being able to tell anyone to buy into this game anymore, telling them they'll have to wait for the full game or if they're lucky an open beta just before the full game.
I hear you. Next year will have a different atmosphere surrounding the project as well. I mean, no more new members. Going through different development stages. Deciding about an open beta or demo of sorts. The day we all decide that the game can go Gold Master. The launch of the game itself.
This past year was great seeing the game grow up so much to where it is now, but next year will be just as good if not better. With all the stuff that will happen still, I can hardly wait. It might he a short year for us that have fun.
19.945 euros to go
I still find it impressive how many people they have got on board, 86,302. I know a lot of people have more than one account but that's still at least 80,000 people supporting the game in some way.
And the stuff thats still to come... lots of great cars, tracks, features, whole game modes... I ll probably cry a tear of joy like a little wussie when driving my first lap on the Solitude!![]()
I predict it'll be done in time for a news announcement/celebration first thing Monday morning. I wish I could throw a bit more in but I'm skint at the moment.
If I'm reading things correctly in the 'money where your mouth is' thread they're technically already there but some of the bank wire transfers aren't through yet.

mcfizzleJust joined as a full member. No PC to enjoy it but had to become a member and help a project as cool as this.
DaveTheStalkerIf I could help fund it, I would. My wife has our the kibosh on an extra spending at all. Having a mortgage, and all of the expenses (above renting) that accompanies it, changes the entire negotiating table.
OP updated.
