I'm just coming here reading the news now. I did NOT buy pCARS. So they just up and closed to new members abruptly without even a warning or heads up? That's pretty un-cool to be honest. It would have been nice to issue a formal letter going out to the existing members to let all their friends or anyone else know that there will be no more acceptance of new membership in XXX days. A pretty ****** move there WMD 👎 Oh well, guess I'll have to keep waiting for what...another year? LOL.

Read back through the thread, it was made quite clear that they were going to be closing the crowdsourced funding soon. They've always said that they'd close it when they hit their target and they couldn't exactly predict when that would be, could they?

That was fast. Sorry you missed the warning dude, if you have any friends on WMD then you should give them a healthy kick in the behind because they didnt warn you about something very obvious since at least a month.

But actually you re totally right, they should have mailed this to everybody in the www:

"Dear internets,

we re rich, b*a***! Come onboard now or die of stupidity!"

Which toolpack did you get? I kinda forget what the post-Development perks are for each one.

Junior is 10 off, Team Member is 25 off, Full Member and above is free, plus the possibility of a return on the profits.

I was probably one of the last to sign up and I did so because people on here warned it would be closing soon. They thought it would be days but the pace was so fast it ended up being hours.

IIRC the discount will be in the form of a money off voucher valid at stores on any version of the game. I think that was the plan anyway, I can't say I've read anything about that in several months.

Although I did use a custom setup and a DFGT with no clutch. I will find those 19 thousandths though!

I thought I'd give this a go and have some friendly competition on this forum. Very fun this combo, fastest I managed was 0:37.600. Good enough also for overall best on track but I doubt that will last for long. There is over three tenths left for me going by best sectors, lost most of it in first sector. If you guys beat me, will give it another go. Just used default setup, driving it like that I can see quite a bit of time that could be made with custom setup.

Have always wanted to see Project Gotham Racing 4's raindrops in a sim racing game. 👍

(i'm not saying that those are actually taken from PGR4, but they look as high quality as PGR4's)

Is anyone else experiencing weird physics while using an Xbox 360 controller? The cars slide like crazy, even at the slightest turn.

I will try to at least improve my time a bit later on. I also love this combo. It is challenging yet fun to squeeze as much out of a car possible. Great footwork is a must and also fast handwork to catch the car or turn the wheel quickly at the hairpin.

Non-WMD members cant see that...

Its a "little thank you" for completing of the funds, a new track with some incredible mountain scenery with a dam and an aqueduct... looks like an A >>> B track to me.
