Don't think multiplatform is going to be a problem. While it's the first serious racing game to do this, it is far from the first game to do so. When you compare it to for example fps games, the difference between the platforms is going to be much smaller.

When it comes to career I will try to make standard races full length and endurance races about 2.4 hours long with X10 time progression and tyre/fuel depletion.

When i clicked on the link a few moments ago it gave me a lot of photos of different Challengers, now it only has one of a big gold coloured Challenger. I think it's referring to 2 things at the same time, livery editing, and again that the game has gone gold!

Could Andy be asking if we would like the Challenger to have stripes on the side or hood, refering to the car as a possible addition to the car lineup?

Well seeing it's not the HellCat,don't bother putting it in the game.

The Challenger commenced production on the 8th May

In that case, I'll quote myself. Not long to go now.:)

Best Buy is showing a release date of 12 May in the states. I'd put money on that being the date. Tuesdays are also the usual day for game releases stateside. Shopto is showing an 8 May release date in the UK. It's a Friday and I'd put more money on that being the release date there. Shopto also has this guarantee statement on the page for ordering the game:

Guarantee
We are so confident that you will receive Project Cars for Friday 8th of May 2015 that if for ANY reason you do not we will compensate you with £5.00 to your account.

A good reason for me to have chosen an Xbox One over a ps4 is the controller... Xbone controller for racing is just great (yeah I know this is personal but I thought I would throw it here)...

What? Dude they make them 25 miles from were I live in Brampton Ontario Canada, and they have been making them for alot longer than that.

Uhh, he meant that the Challenger's production was commenced on May 8th, 2008, not that the production will commence on this year's May 8th.

It's just a nice coincidence of the dates being so similar, marking two significant occasions.

i will agree that the DS4 sticks still leave a lot to be desired. haven't used the xbone pad enough but the triggers sound interesting

It's happening! Thank God it's gon gold! For some reason I don't get alerts from this thread.

yeah the sticks on the ps 4 controller are bit dodgy plus their position is a bit uncomfortable for me. The triggers on the xbone controller are pretty good and the ability to have vibrations one a trigger but not on the other is pretty cool when going around a corner..

Apologies if already posted but here's some 43 car PS4 racing

Triggers work amazingly well on the Xbone pad on Forza, The pad in generally is vastly superior especially for racers (and shooters) as the triggers on DS4 just to have enough movement and the analog sticks are poor compared to the Xbox pad.

Awesome gif hahaha

We are proud to announce that another race driver was involved in Project cars. He is a specialist in crash physics and car behavior after multiple impacts, welcome Pastor Maldonado.

I do urge you guys to get a wheel, if it's at all possible. There is just so much more detail and feedback from the wheel that controller cannot give you that it's totally worth it.
I agree, it's so much more immersive when using a wheel, would rather not race if I couldn't use a wheel.
