I may be being a little daft here but when you say "gone gold" are you talking in terms of sales figures? like with music or is there something else that I am not aware of?

Well, maybe it is comparable to this situation:

Let's assume a car is going "gold" when it is ready to drive and all parts are assembled. Regarding to project cars, I think we are more in a "we only need to mount the tires" position than in a "where the hell has the engine gone?" position.

But it's not a very good way of creating hype.... After all the game is 6 months late has already been delayed 3 times..... People are already frustrate with the wait, this fdd700 nonsense wasn't necessary!

I think this was as far as he could go without telling something to early. I'm sure they have a marketing plan for the mid-may release date which has to be followed. Even the "head" of the game can't jump out of this line too far.

WMD members can't and won't (or shouldn't) forward to the general public what they can see on their private forum.

How hard is it to understand this?

Andy Tudor's tweet was a tease, he's making us get all excited ahead of an upcoming announcement. Do not expect WMD members to announce unofficially something that is going to be announced officially very soon by the people who are entitled to do so.

Just sit back, hammer that F5 key all you want, but please, please, stop harassing the few WMD members who are still hanging around on gtp (you've made a few go quiet already, if you haven't noticed).

Banging about it is not going to make it happen faster.

As long as we make sure absolutely do not discuss Project Cars at all then I think we will be fine.
