It seems a lot of people talk about AI over online racing. Is there that many people that prefer offline over online for racing games? I'm not saying one is better than the other, just wondering since we're in the age of, online is everything for consoles with all the new social additions.

(I don't play PC and I don't really follow PC communities)
Maybe they are as slow as i am as drivers and what to get a chance at win? :D i can't put a "Ozwheels slider at 80%" when i race online lol

UK PSN store still says released 7th available 6th. No doubt it still needs to be updated since the news this morning.

Unless it does get released on the 7th over here :D.

Question: How many PS4/XBox One owners will be getting a wheel in time for PCARS launch? Or will you be playing with a gamepad?
Pad for me! Annoyingly the wheel looks weird with a pad so I may just use the swingman view

EDIT: there's some chatter on the Eurogamer comments for these vids where people are concerned that if you turn all the environmental and visual effects on there'll be a performance issue. if SMS have the console games running with all the crepuscular rays on and suchlike they will have done a mighty fine job!
What if those 60fps were quoted with all otions enabled...

Has damage been turned down a bit? I used to see cars getting wrecked on previous builds and I just realised on all of the latest videos I haven't noticed a single car getting badly damaged.

Maybe less crashes are happening

The wait till May won't be so bad for me... but that first weekend where everyone but us in America is playing it will be the worst

I'm actually starting to get excited again even after the buzz kill from the delays.

Now you Americans will know how it feels when us Europeans are sat waiting for games you are playing.

The recent ps4 vid had a grid with 43 cars running on ps4 with what looked like the settings in question (lens flair for example) turned on and it didn't look like it dropped a single frame, so I'm pretty confident that they've managed it.
ah yes. good point. I will go back and scrutinize said video until I am entirely satisfied with my findings.
