well it does not look real if thats what your getting at .looks alright for a video game .

As others have already said, there's still some work going on with the cockpit lighting at night, but I think the AI cars/track (which is what the original comments were about) are looking very nice here.

Ya they have to do something. It seems that there are no in car shadows at night. It looks like youre driving an half car when someone drives behind you lol

To go along with the track, players will be given access to all cars and drivers of the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series season, featuring the series’ Dallara-built DW12 open wheeler. Powered by 2.2l V6 turbo-charged engines from different manufacturers, the DW12 is used by all IndyCar teams in various configurations for both oval and road-racing.

Excellent (does that mean the aero-kit front endplates will fall off as soon as someone looks at them harshly like the real ones do ).

They defo look much better but i was just looking at screens from DC at night and they too look good but when playing it's a different story.

Sorry if this has been answered but when you do a career event is the weather random or is it fixed weather for each event?

As far as I've encountered, it's scripted weather, so each time you go through the championship, you will get the same weather events as you did before.

I'm at wmd but this came as a surprise.. why the 🤬 ?

I thought there is an option to get random weather since a long time ago.

You're right as far as the random weather goes, but as I said before, in my experience, both weather and time of day is scripted. It has happened before in games.

There's not much incentive to do a championsip 2nd time then (atleast for me) if weather changes are exactly at same point again.

It's a big issue for anyone planning to stick to a specific series. Also for everyone who wants to pursue the defending champion achievement it doesn't make any sense to have the same weather three seasons in a row. That's a very bad design decision.

But you do start a new season, so it shouldn't be the same as last. The only way you'd see the same weather is, if you create new profile and play the same career again. That's how I imagine it.

Only the cars with a (R), (R-LE) and (R-PO) will be in the game at the release (well, except the Bentley GT3 and he forgot to put a (R) at the Mercedes 300SEL 6.8).
