The pedals?! Alright. Thank you mate!!yes that line is texture filtering I guess. details appearing at that line. lots of games have it, don't always notice it.
use your brake pedal for slow mo. push it all the way down for fast rewind, softly softly gets you slo mo
Yeah I did some laps in time trail. That's why I'm asking.
Wasn't this game meant to have animated pit stops? Just watched some gameplay and it's like iracing. Are they coming in a patch?
I'm not sure I am a fan of SMS' interpretation of traction control being a 'Yes' or 'No variable. There should be a scale from 1-10 at least.
Hmm, so you like the AI in 1st party developers like PDSo let's say 70% is too easy and 80% too hard and I am playing career on console, will I have to wait for a patch so I can play the career mode properly? The deeper we go into this generation of games the more I lose my faith in 3rd party developers.
haven't tried photomode but if it's like replay cam you probably can't move the camera unless you assign directional buttons with looks around commands. not ideal. I wouldn't mind switching to the pad to do this stuff but it doesn't work like that at the moThe pedals?! Alright. Thank you mate!!
But still, how do I change camera in photo mode when using the wheel ingame?! I just can't use wheel and ds4 at the same time!! And switching between them ain't working either.
I tried the calibration test and made the biggest hash of it in gaming historyI did the wheel calibration test where it says move all the way round one way, set, then back 90 degrees then set, but when I got in the car the 1:1 movement was way out. I'm sure 90 is a quarter turn, so think I got that right. any thoughts?
the default settings seem to work no probs though.
What is annoying is that in front of the car (1m coupe at monza) there is a none visible "line" that keeps pushing the graphics forward. I don't know how to discribe that. It's like you push a transparent texture in front of the car. Look at the lines when leaving the pit at monza. Get me?!
In replays the player car seems to jump every time you pause.
A few other graphical errors are there too. tearing in replay is there too. And where is the slomo effect in replay mode?!
And again, how do I control the cam in photo mode when driving with a wheel?!
Why is my time trail lap time not uploaded to the leaderboards when there is other drivers with the same car at the same track with times worth than mine?!
Fantastic. 👍You can adjust the TC for every car individually in the car setup from 1-100.![]()
I don't how traction control is in real race cars but in my IRL cars traction control is ON/OFF.I'm not sure I am a fan of SMS' interpretation of traction control being a 'Yes' or 'No variable. There should be a scale from 1-10 at least.
Good to know, thanks for the useful info!It get's updated with some delay, don't worry about it![]()

yeah I couldn't get it perfect by doing it myself. was slightly off. default good enough for nowI tried the calibration test and made the biggest hash of it in gaming historypraise the lord for the reset option.

Pretty sure most real race cars have adjustable TC.I don't how traction control is in real race cars but in my IRL cars traction control is ON/OFF.
Ahh, good to know.GT3 cars have adjustable TC. I saw a docu about 24h on the Nürburgring and the Audi drivers described how every driver has different pre-settings when it comes to TC and ABS. And they can adjust it for rain for example
So the answer would be based on the type of car, some race cars adjustable, many others ON/OFF. The ON/OFF is actually an aid that can be used on any car regardless if it had/has TC IRL.Pretty sure most real race cars have adjustable TC.
I understand why they've done it but plenty of other games in the racing genre have taken the simple 1-10 approach which I personally prefer. So the answer would be based on the type of car, some race cars adjustable, many others ON/OFF. Holy ****! Normally I scan all the topics and provide support/responses where I can, but today I feel 'slighlty' overwhelmed.![]()
Woah! With the revenue generated from sales and the increased awareness, I am sure PCARS 2 will be even better!
Oh thanks man.![]()
A friend just told me that there is a free livery pack ready to dl via psn. Search for it. The lykan is there too.
That's why I asked you, because I only have a couple of wheel hours in GT6 myself, so we've probably the same amount of experience with a wheel. When I bought my T300 a couple of weeks ago I was expecting to shave seconds of my laptimes, but instead I struggled to even match my gamepad times. Always felt the cars were less forgiving in GT6 when using the wheel so I'm happy to hear that PCARS is more communicative/predictable....I am not that experienced but I think it feels more accurate in terms of car feeling. In gt it just rumbles. But I was playing gt5 only the last few days.
One thing that was very nice is when the 1M coupe looses grip and the tail comes out I can feel it better an react to it. If that makes sense to you...
Same as Forza 4 in that regard.
Both Forza and GT6 had spectator options.
Not a big issue for me so long as I can see the circuit name in the lobby list before joining a room.
Do you mean Assists, Car Setup or both?
