How is the floating feeling of the cars that was present on Shift 2? And hopefully no inputlag this time :)

Looks like the first RUF model might be in the game soon, not tomorrow but maybe the week or two after. Model is not far from being finished the first pass.

I've heard of Project Cars some time ago never really paid it any mind. Then a friend brought it up to me tonight, sent me a link so I could take a look. I must say I’m really impressed on how in depth the car line up along with the tracks. I never knew what quality of racing background they brought and in such detail. I’m eager to see how the final product will turn out.
 
Awesome work, I first saw Valdudes doing that type of masking in his GT5 Youtube streams. Really fun to watch.
 
Question for you guys, ive had an account to play pcars since almost the beginning, but didnt played in a while (a long time ago), bought a new SSD and tried installing pcars again, downloaded everything and all the patch and then got this error:

CRC failed in pCARS_0249_0_build_10_pre-alpha_PC-EXT-1b.bin

just when it was finishing installation, it said retry with a fresh installment....

it did it twice... now i dont want to bust my download limit trying again, anyone had this problem?

Have you tried disabling any anti-virus and run the install as administrator

Hopefully you'll get it to work Mike! Just started to test the revisited FB tyres again.. so much fun still :)

Downsampling works brilliantly with my rig.. 70fps in time trial with DS4X (not much optimization yet I read)

Also those blackspots as you can see in your pic Timppaq, those are already fixed for 408. Also cockpit jaggies should be gone next week together with the implementation of the HDR fix. :)
 
Finaly got it to work :scared:
had to install all the patches without the launcher, and then install latest version of directx to make it work.

Is it me that didnt setup it well or we cant feel anything throught the wheel?
the more you turn the wheel harder it is, but i cant feel any bumps on the road or the weight transfer of the car, feel loose when you try to stay in straight line... i have to focus on the movement of the car on the screen to countersteer. Something just dont feel right and i probably didnt set it up correctly. :)

I recalibrated the wheel and found nothing, and all cars cannot steer more than 90 degree on the wheel, i dont have access to road cars so i dont know if its just related to race cars... :crazy:

And i cant run on the 'ring!... :grumpy: lol
other than that the graphics looks very good, will have to set them lower though i get some slight lag at full settings.
 
Definitely not the wheel I would've modeled for the M3.

These look a lot better in my opinion... oh well.
 
They model whichever wheels are on the main reference vehicle. The M3 GT also has some not so great rims because of that.
