V8 Power Pack?
As @MroczMR says, Australian V8 Supercars maybe. I know they'd be popular. (See the post below 🙂)

I wonder if there'll be any modding allowed to begin with. S4S/Giants will be wanting people to buy their DLC rather than having any of the same tracks or cars being created and available for free(?).
It would make economic sense to have modding locked somehow for a period at least, they are a business after all and need to make money.

Or maybe… V8 Supercars?

DTM used V8 engines for many years, but with RaceRoom having the license I doubt PMR will have DTM cars.

So Australian V8 Supercars or maybe vintage Trans-Am?

The season pass image says +30 GT Heroes.

I don't know what to think because none of those categories are actually GT.

They could license cars with fake liveries.

It could be old trans am, v8 supercars or even DTM or… all of them. Above those three packs it is said 30+ GT Heroes… so it feels like 10 cars per pack? V8 supercars is about 2-3 car models? DTM too and trans am should be well represented with 4 car models.

Well, if it's none of that, we're left with user-created content.

Just temporarily ignoring that fact that none of the four (three*) cars in the undercover images have wings, the V8 Power one looks annoyingly (in that I can't figure it out) like a C6 Corvette coupe's roof/glasshouse has been stapled onto the Tommykaira ZZII.

Hopefully this game differentiates itself in gameplay terms from the competition, fancy trying before buying too...

Ah, but which console... 🤔
ZX81?
The ZX81 was my first ever computer, the best game for it was in my opinion “3d monster maze”.

I still can’t make my mind up if i’m going to preorder this or wait till i see some reviews about it.
Also need to check out if my lap top will run it as i’m thinking the mods will be better for it than on PS5.

Let me guess, you're not a fan of iRacing or RaceRoom.
You guessed it ahha, but race room base game is free so i can accept dlcs, but here we are talking about a 60 euro game with less than 100 cars so i cannot accept to pay more for more content.

I love it when i have to pay for DLCs that should be free even before the game gets released. Its a shame because i really like this game.
I might just remember and miss a simpler time but I agree.

Its common practise these days to hold back content from the main game so it can be sold as part of the deluxe edition or as DLC down the line. People seem to have the fear or missing out and go for this stuff quite a bit, I hate this practise and always go for the base game only, pick up the DLC years down the line as a cheap bundle only.

On the game itself it's looking great and I hope its nicely polished on release, if this reviews well I will definately be picking this up.

I think this is the key question - a contemporary GTP car is on the cover, so surely it wouldn't fragment that class into some free and some DLC?
No, my guess based on that comment by one of the devs is that GTP is the 80s IMSA cars. A separate class for the Group Cs from the same period. Modern IMSA GTPs all in the launch LMDh class.

Cars racing only against their proper historical competitors (or as close as possible).

Yeah, the few games I've bought the season pass for have just been a smattering of what I wanted and the rest stuff I didn't. I'd be inclined to buy a single pack at launch if that pack had an era/category I really wanted

I'm similar. I just wait a year or two to get the full package. "Ultimate Edition". DLC today is much different from DLC then. Now you mostly get a high priced early access of a game with long-termed DLC that contains essential stuff and/or core elements that make the game. Unbearable.

So far we have seven classes confirmed (lmdh, lmp, gt3 gt4, gt, n-gt and sports car 70s) with group C being strongly rumoured to be the eighth. That leaves two to be revealed.

The mazda mx5 was spotted in one of the reveal trailers. So mx5 cup could be the ninth class.

I wonder the final class will be. Group A would be amazing or cars from 97/98 gt1 championship

GTE is additional? Since it is pre order bonus. Or is it 10th class?

Are there GTO?

Edit: Just read the article. If that V8 Power Pack has the big bangers in it that would be wild.

Could you imagine?
