Because it's the best version and they don't want the others to look so bad in comparison before release?:P

Would be true if the XXS and PS5 pro didn't exist.

Overall the XXS is to blame for the small grid size.:indiff:

How come the game takes up 15 GB on PS5 and 50 GB on Xbox?
Probably to keep people from ripping the car and track assets before the game even launches. It's harder to do that from a console install so that's likely holding everything, where the PC version just has all the non-graphical data right now.

It's also a convenient way to push out a launch day patch without people really noticing, since they have to download the other stuff anyway.

I never said it was I meant its the strongest system out right now but it has to be in parity with the other weaker systems cause we know the pro can run more then 16 cars.

Ah yes sorry I misunderstood what you were getting at.

Modding increased AI counts hasn't been ruled out, so it could be possible to very easily increase career events car counts subject to testing.

Any parity in that case would be the developers/publishers choice. Unlike Xbox, Playstation have no directive for feature parity between their systems.
Does it support online crossplay? That would be another factor for parity.
Yes it does for consoles and PC, but it’s not relevant as multiplayer has grids of 32 even on console. It’s the single player races that have reduced grids, apparently because of the AI physics.
