Because it's the best version and they don't want the others to look so bad in comparison before release?:P

Would be true if the XXS and PS5 pro didn't exist.

Overall the XXS is to blame for the small grid size.:indiff:

How come the game takes up 15 GB on PS5 and 50 GB on Xbox?
Probably to keep people from ripping the car and track assets before the game even launches. It's harder to do that from a console install so that's likely holding everything, where the PC version just has all the non-graphical data right now.

It's also a convenient way to push out a launch day patch without people really noticing, since they have to download the other stuff anyway.

I never said it was I meant its the strongest system out right now but it has to be in parity with the other weaker systems cause we know the pro can run more then 16 cars.

Ah yes sorry I misunderstood what you were getting at.

Modding increased AI counts hasn't been ruled out, so it could be possible to very easily increase career events car counts subject to testing.

Any parity in that case would be the developers/publishers choice. Unlike Xbox, Playstation have no directive for feature parity between their systems.
Does it support online crossplay? That would be another factor for parity.
Yes it does for consoles and PC, but it’s not relevant as multiplayer has grids of 32 even on console. It’s the single player races that have reduced grids, apparently because of the AI physics.

I saw several „first impression” videos and this game is shaping out to be very problematic launch

It looks like huge problems with performance, physics on newer cars and fbb.
+ 16 car grids on consoles

I think I will pass for now and buy goty edition with all dlc packs. Should be fixed by then.

Not sure how the sentence
All code is shared
And
16 cars on cosoles and 32 on pc
Cope togheter

The only way i can translate it physic first, all the rest second.
This is the foundation of crossplay, so I'm ok with it, but for sigle player i think they can , and hopefully will, do better then this.

I hope they will succeed, so that the community will enjoy 😀

Looks like engine change so late in development was terrible idea.
How they menaged to make it run so poor on PS5 Pro, while looking way worse than original Project Cars on PS4 is beyond me.

PC Vs PS5

Better reflections and shadows on PC. PS5 looks more stable.

Not sure what to think of this. Reflections and shadows are only part that I could even notice. Everything looks just as blurry or slightly worse at times on PC? He says he's using a 3080 and a i7 10700k.

Surely he's not playing this at 4K and full settings on PC.. Game looks worse than I thought if it is. Something isn't adding up in that comparison. But I also don't speak french so maybe its on medium/low settings.

He said quality mode, but I'm not sure what he meant by that.

This guy drives a lot of hypercars in various games. In case anyone's interested in seeing how they drive on PMR PC.
