Actually I didn't refuse to believe anything else, maybe if you actually read my post then maybe you would have known that I said I wouldn't believe anything else that wasn't sensible, and I'm merely saying the things on the map may or may not be coincedences

Actually, you did, but you may have edited your post since then. I remember Famine was also quite dissapointed by that comment.
 
My friend thought his new place was haunted because of the new light that would go on and off by itself. I told him it was all in his head. Later, I had gone over to his house and saw the light. It was a touch light from IKEA, pretty ****ty I guess too.

It's pretty hilarious actually... you "rub" the side to dim or lighten it. There's no switches.

edit: I'm not even looking at anything else in here... just the pics itself are creeping me out in a Blair Witch way. :grumpy: :nervous:

Supposedly, my dorm has a ghost.

From a website:
In the early 1900's a student at the St. Cloud Normal School had an affair with a janitor at Shoemaker Hall, which was the dormitory for the students. She became pregnant and hung herself in the meat locker of the kitchen(now the basement). Shoemaker is still a dorm, and many students report objects being moved, clocks flashing impossible numbers, lights and TVs turning on for no reason, and an apparition of a woman floating above beds late at night.

I've heard this story told so that she had an affair with a professor, but w/e. I've seen the meatlocker. There are two of them, right next to each other. I've been in one, because the lock was broken, but the other I've never been in. I want someone to pay me to sleep inside one of them. I want to see some frickin' ghosts, man!

Anyone have any stories about hauntings or ghosts, either in your own home or somewhere else? Personally I've never seen a ghost, but I've talked to many people who SWEAR they have, so I was just curious to hear everyone's personal accounts.

And Famine, I ask that you and others like you refrain from using scientific "fact" and jargon to dispell people's stories. This is a thread to get spooked by and for interest and fun only. No arguments about whether ghosts are real please!

I've heard of a story. There's an inn down south in England. (forgot what its called) Some people on this show called most haunted, where a team of spiritualists and parapsychologists investigate haunted buildings all around the UK. The inn was built in 1196 and there is rumored to be about 49 ghosts/poltergeists in the building. This was on tv. Anyhow, when the team split into groups of 3, one group went down to the wine cellar. When they filmed the group, one member was being choked. I SWEAR i'm not lying, he said he didn't
fake choke, instead he felt an invisible hand wrapping around his neck. There were also loads of light anomalies in the cellar. This was a mad house. The crew members chickened out about half way through the show and they had to take
a break because they were scared like hell.

EDIT: I just looked at the pic again, and it's no worse than the Ring. It just shocks you when you first see it.
 
Well, a few months ago, when Steve was over at my house, (anyone remember S13Drifting? That was him) well anyways we decided to order pizza, we were the only people in the house, my dad was at work. So, around 15-20 minutes after we ordered pizza we decided to watch tv downstairs while we wait for the pizza guy. Well near my TV I have an Electric Piano, one that needs a flick of a switch to turn on. We never touched it at all that day, but while we were waiting the damnthing turned on and started to play 5 random notes, we were scared sh tless. So we both ran outside to wait for the pizza and even after the pizza came we ate it outside and refused to go back in for another 2 hours...

Here is one for you. I woke up at 4:30 to hear a demonic laughter and a sort of very loud bulldog grunt near the window. i just went back to sleep again.

knowing that i have the comfort of a cricket bat, butcher's knife, pellet gun and my greatgrand dad's walking stick. :)

Just on topic, i swear my grandad went to his home village in India and saw a white outline of his dad (my greatgrandad) and he felt a tap on his head then he passed out an woke up 2hours later!

Kikie, the female entity you was on about. Those types of ghosts are called incubis, these are probably the most feared ghosts. They want to get in your bed and make their presence known :scared:

Funny story: me and my gran was in a bedroom with 2 beds. I swore i heard a ghosts footsteps on the roof (in my old house). It was a robber though. So i went down stairs following my dad and then we went into the kitchen and he turned on the light and saw the robber and said "GET THE **** OUT OF THE HOUSE!"
Jeez the robber **** his pants and ran for it

Didn't know that. :scared: Thx for the warning. Maybe this was a "nice" incubis or I wasn't worth while because it never happened again. I had a positive feeling about it, though!!
