Definately NOT the same car. One is a Lancer base model, and the other one is an EVOLUTION. EX. Look at the tail lights on the GT4 screen shot :)

Chaser, i read 2jays report on the a-s[ec system. Have you noticed it yet. basically the more your car is tuned the less prize winning you get? I think thats what it was.

I was a little disappointed in this area. It seems that they've taken a lot of race titles and logos straight out of GT3 and this seems a bit cheap if you ask me. There's the Spider & Roadster cup and the FR, MR, 4WD challenges. All of which are great, but they've kept the same artwork for the logos and stuff. I guess as long as the tracks are different then it's okay.

Btw, you win some pretty hot cars early on. I've won the following and in the order I won them.

VW Lupo
Pontiac Sunfire Concept
70s Lancer Rally Car
Nike Concept
Cadillac Cien
Toyota RSC Rally Edition
Mazda Atenza

Besides engine failure, have any of you had a particular car part fail? Either engine, chassis, suspension, etc.

They wouldent leave a car out just for nike...and that supirses me that you get it early...i guess its not that fast? or ?

Has anyone tried winning the same prize car twice? Does it allow this or is it like GT3?

How is the performance of this Nike car? Does it resemble that of the F1 cars?
 
Could I get a shot of the car wash? Do the pit workers actually wash your car with rags? And also, is the Chrysler 300C or Dodge Magnum in the game? Thanks.

Yes, two guys come and clean your car with shammy's after it's done the usual GT3 spinny thingy.

Oh yes, and there are the spoilers that you can put on your car, but they're way to wide for a regular car and look pretty pants. Not sure if you can adjust them for downforce. Add that one to my list of things to do!
 
Great great info, in all the time PD had to release info on the game, I think I find this thread better for straight info, not because PD is slacking, but because this is straight from the wire info, PD likes to wait on things, let people wait, get anxious and then flip out, here it is basically like you ask, it gets answered, much better then posting non sense info on a web site that gets updated once a month....good news guy, keep it coming...

I got one question though, whats the car list for Acura, I dont need or want pics for that matter, I just want a straight list...that would be super great!!

Congrats guys on getting GT4, Im jealous, and I dont get Jealous too often...CONGRATS!

Has tire wear improved at all?

Tyre wear appears in all races not matter how short and tyre degradation is a lot slower than in previous GTs.
