If people don't like me, they can put me on their ignore list. I have two people on mine, and it's an easy guess who they are.

People who come here for the sole purpose to be ignorant, annoying, childish pests and to start flame war after flame war, to constantly start arguements, to post blatant, ignorant coments without valid mermit will be targeted for my sick sense of humor. Don't like it? Stay out of here, or put me on your ignore list.

Oh, and if some of you idiots whom I just described want to start alerting the mods of my posts, I'll be happy to report yours no matter where you go. That way, they can see all the stupid, worthless posting, the childish behavior and constant flame-baiting that you cause here. I'm sure they'll show you the door long before they show me it, so I'm not intimidated in the slightest.
 
I have nothing against you, SL. You usually come up with good articles and news about next gen, and useful info on PS2 games like MGS and RE. But to be rude and call names to other people just because you don't agree with them it's not cool, and it doesn't make you right. In fact, I don't think personal attacks are allowed here at GTP.

So I can't put you in my ignore list because I like most of your posts, but I don't like the childish name calling you come up with sometimes. I guess I'll just have to live with it. :indiff:

A lot of the crap that the few who come here to do all the things I mentioned are against the rules here, and yet they go untouched. I'm a bit sick of it, myself. And notice, it's the same assholes causing all the trouble. I'm sick of it.

What else is there to do, but point out how retarded, stupid and worthless they are? Maybe they'll stop. Doubtfull. Maybe the'll go away. Possible. Maybe the mods would recognize the few who do come here to start crap over and over and over and over again, and realize people here are getting really sick of them and tired of it all, that they finally start issuing some official warnings.

We' been debating, but no one has said anything inherently negative to another person in order to "draw them out".

You become irritated when views to not match your own, you are clearly not cut out for debate. When someone posts a fact, but it does not match your own view or opinion, you get blatantly disrespectful and can't take it.


To this day, I'm still waiting for those "facts" you never showed me in reference to Blu-ray/HD-DVD. Yet you insulted me REPEATEDLY for posting facts stating other wise.

This is no different. Code expressed his opinion, we debate, and you insult him. There is no need for it, so please, STOP. Maybe if WE keep continuing, YOU will stop posting, YOU will go away.

Plus, your first post had absolutely no merit or relevance to the thread topic or to what I posted earlier. thread...

the last 20 or 30 posts are not about the Ps3 at all, more about Sony and the emotion engine and a lot of flaming. While not completly offtopic in the beginning, it starts to get annoying. Let's come back to the PS3 ....

As soon as PS3's are up and ready to pre-order in the UK, I,m pre-ordering one right away. Not going to wait like I did for the 360, which my Dad was going to order in like July or Aug 05.

But forgott grrrr.

I can understand that.

However, I don't like to be burned by first gen consoles(just like cars) so I'll wait till they get some of the bugs out before shelling out $400+ dollars.

On that note, I can say why would anyone not purchase an extended warrenty?

I mean, I want to get my next gen gaming on as soon as possible, and if $40 bucks is going to cover me for 2 years after the manufacturer warranty, then I'm going to buy it and have a lot of peace of mind when / if it breaks.

It's just the smart thing to do.
 
I'll probably order one straight away, at worst you can e-bay it an probably make a profit in the mean time.
 
Do you think you will be able to pre-order in Jan 06. Or even Feb 06 guys.

You are aware what happened to pre-orders with the XBox360, right? They went to new customers who didn't place a pre-order. If Amazon, and the others, did this with the XBox360, they'll do it with the PS3, for certain.

I wont be pre-ordering one, I'll take my chances. And if I don't get one... meh, whatever... I doubt MGS4 will be out, anyway.

Not ordering a PS3 from Play I be ordering by Game, Gamestation or GamePlay this time. Plus I have signed up to a newsletter, which will tell me when the pre-orders are up.
 
I work at gamestop, so the second they become avilable, I'm pre-ordering one.

Also, nothing stops you from pre-ordering from different stores of the same franchise within your local community. I'm going to order one from each Gamestop (3) and then sell two on Ebay.

It'll pay for my extended warranty!!

You ebaying one is like bargin hunt but you could call it PS3 hunt.
 
I'll defintivly go for importing one from Japan right at the beginning ( well, at least as soon as import prices will be fair, sth like jp retail pize + 10% or so )...
I might also wait for the EU release if the time difference is 3 months or so...which I doupt....
If Sony sticks to their promises I might play PS3 in May or June....cool.... :lol:

I won't preorder, but I'll be waiting in front of my local walmart on the day the PS3 is released, hopefull I'll be able to get one.

I also plan on using the money to hopefully purchase a new TV. I've got a 50" DLP, but I want to bump up and get a 60" with HDMI. Then I will pwn for free.

If you can afford it, buy as many as you can. PS3's will sell for thee or four times the reatil price on e-bay at lauch, Japanese imports will probably sell for more.

hehe, I do it for joke purposes, mainly mockery.

it's an ongoing trend in the tekken community. For some reason...hard core gamers like it not...esp. when we use FTW.

Sorry for my "off topic-ness" earlier, guys. :D

I'm still undecided on the preorder situation. My good friend who preordered X360 is still waiting for his. He was promised a X360 from the local Gamestop's first shipment, but he said he might finally get his sometime this week. Only time I got a new console on launch(actually, it was imported, pre-launch) was the SEGA Dreamcast. I didn't buy the PS2 until they came out with the GT3 Bundle.

I don't play a whole lot of vids anymore, so I might wait until the next Gran Turismo 5 to buy the PS3. If the Nintendo Revolution is really cheap, like in the $200 range, I might get that to hold me off.
