Wow, an infected female. :crazy::yuck:

I disagree if the game was made by someone else people would not hype it so much. I am sure game will be great. ND are really good by overrated.

This guy hyped it way too much. PS3 exclusive you won't believe? ND making game on PS3 so what is new

If they are "really good", then how are they "overrated"? That seems contradictory.

This game looks great. I'm just afraid of it turning too much of an escort mission lol. I always think of RE4 with that annoying girl. I know this will be different but still the thought lingers. Can't wait till its out.

Can't wait to get NaughtyDogs next master piece!! :D

Im soooooo looking forward to this game...

Its just to long to wait for it... But it will be worth it in the end... :dopey:

Damn that trailer looks stunning. Looks like another NaughtyDog classic in the making.

Demo gameplay of it at next months E3 will be....

Fingers crossed. I'm really interested to see how the gameplay compares to Uncharted.👍

Really hoping this'll be at Armageddon Expo, even if it's just a demo. I can't wait to play the game

Did they seriously change her looks because she was too much like Juno  also why make her younger?

why make her younger?
The main characters in the game, Ellie and Joel, are played by Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, respectively. Joel is a "ruthless" survivor and Ellie is a 14 year-old girl who is wise beyond her years, but has no memory of the world pre-apocalypse.

I meant why make her younger than she looked before, was she always 14? because she looked like 17-18 in the initial trailers.

Yes she was. I really can't wait for this game to come out. Also, if it's traditional ND, the graphics will be as good as the gameplay.

I was just going to post that it looks like the girl from Juno, then I noticed the pics in post #82. Looks exactly like her. In fact I thought someone photoshopped the Juno girls face into that one.

As someone else mentioned, if this is anywhere near as good as the Uncharted series this will be epic.

IGN: The Last of Us: A Tale of Two Ellies

link: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/05/18/the-last-of-us-a-tale-of-two-ellies

It's been a big week for The Last of Us. A cutscene debuted, IGN saw gameplay for the first time, I reenacted the demo, and Podcast Beyond spent a show talking about developer Naughty Dog's latest.

But the folks behind The Last of Us also sat down with IGN and went through an extensive Q&A session -- which touched on why Naughty Dog changed Ellie's character model

"After delving further into the game’s narrative over the past few months, we decided to modify Ellie’s model to better reflect [actress] Ashley [Johnson]’s personality, and also resemble a slightly younger teen more fitting to the story," said creative director Neil Druckmann. "We're happy with the final result shown in the cinematic we have released today, and hope the fans like her too."

Trouble was, a lot of you sounded off in the comments that you didn't notice a difference between December Ellie and May Ellie. So, I went through both trailers again for a comparison. Check out the images below and let us know in the comments what you think of the change.

What I think about the revamped version of Ellie is that NaughtyDog had to update her looks just to make her resemble the actresses personality and appearance. Oh by the way, the details and the lighting on her face is so incredible! :)
