Apologies for my part in the big crash in race 2. I was locked to the front wing mounted camera and only had rear view mirror and didn't see a car there![]()

I thought it was a very good and sweaty race. But for sure it showed why we can't go on chances with openwheelers.
I'm really sorry I was freaking out last week, and I'm glad I'd get my head back. It won't happen again - of cause...
I'm also sorry how your race turned out, @azidahaka, but I'm ...well, actually I'm glad to see my burst last week was somehow humanly after all
I hope you'll show up next week ready for our next challange at Snetterton. I'm sure you'll soon show good pace once again. To get a podium finish with this grid isn't at all easy anyhow
Garykavanagh -and everybody else:: With all respect I believe we have to be able to look to the sides as well as in the rear view mirror. The buttons are right there. And they are easy to re-asign to most comfortable as you may wish.
Otherwise it will not be possible to make save races. PePeople might use lots and lots of hours to prepare for monday night. We must be very care fully to try avoid crashes throwing away anybody's race, right?
I'm not hitting on anyone. The race is over and done, and what happened unluckely we now got the chance to try to learn from. That's how I see it
I can´t even explain how brilliant race 1 was. It was a bit like one of these MotoGP races where it´s impossible to break out and hell breaks loose in the final laps. I´m already trying to upload it, it was awesome.
Am I alone wanting to kill these stewards though? In race 2 I went just a little bit wide over you-know-what line and I got a 5 seconds penalty. I had to inmediately jump left to avoid those behind piling into the back of my car, and lost many positions. I knew track limits would be problematic... on one hand it´s nice how they don´t allow you to make a mockery of the track, but they are mega strict in one corner and they allow ******** in others. Well, that´s what you get when you build a parking lot and paint some lines to define track limits!
Dubai is notoriously bad on PCars for inconsistent track limits and the penalties.I can´t even explain how brilliant race 1 was. It was a bit like one of these MotoGP races where it´s impossible to break out and hell breaks loose in the final laps. I´m already trying to upload it, it was awesome.

Glad drivers had some high and lows not just lowsWell races 1 & 3 were awesome for me, great battles with @Finnva
Race 2, well, i think it was @Garykavanagh who spun after the 1st harpin on lap 1, i almost ran straight into him but had a major evasive maneuver to miss him which resulted in me spinning and dropping to last then after a good comeback i get the dreaded 5sec penalty, then in avoidance of @Cobra75 car exploding i spun again went wide and got another penalty..lol
All in a good night of racing![]()
Yup, @Garykavanagh turned into me and i spun out must have been exciting to see it from the outsideApologies @Garykavanagh seems it was @azidahaka who got spun in R2 that lead to me spinning.
I had no space left to save the replay, but i bet it was some sight...so close to full on carnage, would have collected a few including @rcb929 who was right on my tail.
Well after race 1 and 2 and even the crash at start of race 3 I was still on track finishing my races even if they were lost since the beginning...
Rejoining a race at lap 2 48 seconds behind second to last and finishing 16 seconds off it's soul draining lol
In any case I had no problem to have you back. We all can have a moment of fire.
But when you are organizing you have to set a standard I think... So whatever happens you are supposed to stay there and finish your race even if your only wish was to shut all off and call it a day.
Think it on the track were you felt the season strongest point lol.
At least I'll cooling down pretty ok, not much left to trace for beside a lucky odd race so I guess in 3-4 days I won't hate the game so much and be able to train lol
Let's this alone... In race one I had to widen my line to leave space to another driver and got a 5 sec penalty on lap 1... Race basically done for :'(
Being a slow starter I had opportunety to watch all those flying cars. It looked awesome. Really cool. To far away to judge weather a wing or a wheel should be what was flying though
@dyr_gl Just to clearify, -sorry, but due to lack in my english I guess - I'm not sure weather you are 'just' joking about the pcars damage-'programming. Do you think its bad/wrong simulation? -Or are you just refering to the cosmetic side of the situation?
You can move alongside but not passing before finish lineI expected a sad puppy in the end
Now, I ask for further clarification just to be sure... until now I always thought that if I get a better run out of last corner than the guy in front, I can start moving alongside him as long as I don´t PASS (get my nose in front of his) before the line. Is that correct?
