Guys, just a request from the stewards, can we all please try NOT to knock down any brake marker boards as some drivers use them to determine braking points. Thanks all!

So sorry to the driver i hit, i didnt see anyone in my mirrors and then suddenly I was upside down

Apologies for my part in the big crash in race 2. I was locked to the front wing mounted camera and only had rear view mirror and didn't see a car there:(

These are the races that make me question my mental sanity choosing to race Online instead of the PCars AI... >_>

Probably this one was the track i was the fastest and most consistent in the whole season and the last one in the list i could hope for good results 🤬

Yeah that was me. Let's say it happens. Let's hope it won't happen to me again for the next weeks for i already payed dearly any debt i might have had with lady luck.

This was the frakking worst race ever for me...

Seriously i expected 2 podiums here or at least a full racket of 4th places, instead i got

race 1 with first lap 5 seconds track limit penalty for having given space to another driver
race 2 spun out at the go on and had to recover from 8th to 4th losing 3rd after being clipped on my back wheel last lap (rcb was way faster in any case)
race 3 taken out by incorrect race start procedure. Had to go back repair and be back on track 48 frigging seconds behing last position (recovered up to being 16 seconds behind, not bad but what a useless effort)

Since it seems the race start procedure for R2 and R3 is not clear enough i'll make a video detailing it.

**** this race, i need a holyday now :D

Or at least some lots of :cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

Guys, I apologize for misinterpreting the start procedure in R3. I thought the leader could control when he goes after the last corner, but after seeing the result of that, I realize my mistake. This will be clarified in the future to avoid this happening. Again, sorry to anyone affected in the crash at the start.

PS: Shoutout to @dyr_gl on his amazing pace today!

I had issues with my breaks in the first lobby, they just kept locking all the time, tried to reconnect but it didn't help.. In the second lobby the issue was fixed again, so the car felt better again.
Still annoyed that I didn't see @rcb929 in my mirrors on lap 9, I was really surprised when my car took of lol..
Still I really enjoy to race with all of you guys, I would like to find a second in my pace but I'm pretty happy thinking about I haven't got much time to practice for these races..

Big thanks to @azidahaka for creating this series

I thought it was a very good and sweaty race. But for sure it showed why we can't go on chances with openwheelers.

I'm really sorry I was freaking out last week, and I'm glad I'd get my head back. It won't happen again - of cause...

I'm also sorry how your race turned out, @azidahaka, but I'm ...well, actually I'm glad to see my burst last week was somehow humanly after all ;)
I hope you'll show up next week ready for our next challange at Snetterton. I'm sure you'll soon show good pace once again. To get a podium finish with this grid isn't at all easy anyhow ;)

Garykavanagh -and everybody else:: With all respect I believe we have to be able to look to the sides as well as in the rear view mirror. The buttons are right there. And they are easy to re-asign to most comfortable as you may wish.
Otherwise it will not be possible to make save races. PePeople might use lots and lots of hours to prepare for monday night. We must be very care fully to try avoid crashes throwing away anybody's race, right?

I'm not hitting on anyone. The race is over and done, and what happened unluckely we now got the chance to try to learn from. That's how I see it

I can´t even explain how brilliant race 1 was. It was a bit like one of these MotoGP races where it´s impossible to break out and hell breaks loose in the final laps. I´m already trying to upload it, it was awesome.

Am I alone wanting to kill these stewards though? In race 2 I went just a little bit wide over you-know-what line and I got a 5 seconds penalty. I had to inmediately jump left to avoid those behind piling into the back of my car, and lost many positions. I knew track limits would be problematic... on one hand it´s nice how they don´t allow you to make a mockery of the track, but they are mega strict in one corner and they allow ******** in others. Well, that´s what you get when you build a parking lot and paint some lines to define track limits!

Well after race 1 and 2 and even the crash at start of race 3 I was still on track finishing my races even if they were lost since the beginning...

Rejoining a race at lap 2 48 seconds behind second to last and finishing 16 seconds off it's soul draining lol

In any case I had no problem to have you back. We all can have a moment of fire.

But when you are organizing you have to set a standard I think... So whatever happens you are supposed to stay there and finish your race even if your only wish was to shut all off and call it a day.

Think it on the track were you felt the season strongest point lol.

At least I'll cooling down pretty ok, not much left to trace for beside a lucky odd race so I guess in 3-4 days I won't hate the game so much and be able to train lol

Let's this alone... In race one I had to widen my line to leave space to another driver and got a 5 sec penalty on lap 1... Race basically done for :'(

Dubai is notoriously bad on PCars for inconsistent track limits and the penalties.

Well races 1 & 3 were awesome for me, great battles with @Finnva :)

Race 2, well, i think it was @Garykavanagh who spun after the 1st harpin on lap 1, i almost ran straight into him but had a major evasive maneuver to miss him which resulted in me spinning and dropping to last then after a good comeback i get the dreaded 5sec penalty, then in avoidance of @Cobra75 car exploding i spun again went wide and got another penalty..lol

All in a good night of racing :)

Glad drivers had some high and lows not just lows :)

Edit: race videos

Later on i think i'll post the race start video and points (maybe) :D

Man, you sure were unlucky. They turned in on you on round 2 and then you got hit in the start at round 3...

BTW, full damage in PCARS is a joke :D One would expect that rear wing to jump in the air and then your front right wheel going on a trip in that restart.

Apologies @Garykavanagh seems it was @azidahaka who got spun in R2 that lead to me spinning.

I had no space left to save the replay, but i bet it was some sight...so close to full on carnage, would have collected a few including @rcb929 who was right on my tail.

Yup, @Garykavanagh turned into me and i spun out must have been exciting to see it from the outside :D

Later on the Race start video will be posted. Since i had to do it i had to have some fun with it lol

Being a slow starter I had opportunety to watch all those flying cars. It looked awesome. Really cool. To far away to judge weather a wing or a wheel should be what was flying though ;)
@dyr_gl Just to clearify, -sorry, but due to lack in my english I guess - I'm not sure weather you are 'just' joking about the pcars damage-'programming. Do you think its bad/wrong simulation? -Or are you just refering to the cosmetic side of the situation?

lol - Guess I had it coming. I respect your stamina-driving. It will earn you extra points here and there. I know -out of experiences... ;) (and also knowing you'd earned some in the past, right?)

No matter: I totally agree with you. One should stay and finish the job! Shame falls upon the departed souls :D

Now it really needs to be left behind :-)

It´s terrible in many cars. You have a big impact and you barely get any damage. It´s normally too lenient.

My internet finally managed to upload this. Grab your popcorn :sly:

Sorry. Too tired. I can't write now. Tomorrow... gn :)

I expected a sad puppy in the end :D

Now, I ask for further clarification just to be sure... until now I always thought that if I get a better run out of last corner than the guy in front, I can start moving alongside him as long as I don´t PASS (get my nose in front of his) before the line. Is that correct?

You can move alongside but not passing before finish line

POINTS:

Rcb finished his stack of pole position points dyr has got more points than me in just 2 races, my "unlucky week" had me go from 3rd in the standings to a far away 5th. Glen's stably in second place. Finn inserted himself in the top positions.

Announcing weather for round 5: Snetterton 300

Outcast/light rain/light rain

Another S****y race ahead for me :P
