What are you talking about? I know there was a problem with my internet, obviously so for have a ping of 400. I only said my up and down speeds were good, nothing else. I've spent all my free time during today trying to remedy a solution to the problem, so i don't know what your on about!

Like the other one here, i never asked for your help or opinion about my internet, and lag problem last night, and i'm not getting 'super defensive' or blaming it on 'everything other than what i've got'? You don't even know me, nor race against me on a day to day basis, so keep your opinions to yourself please, thanks.

i'll give you my last word on the matter since it happened to my brother that is basically a "professional" DOOM player (the fps) with various world records and that started all of the sudden to get weirdly high ping and random disconnections for no reason he could understand. Those issues happened only when he was playing in MP. Or seldom when he was torrenting.

Long story made short after countless swearing, test and efforts i traced the problem down. It was his router that when running for long MP sessions or in heavy torrenting with many connections getting in/out, would overheat and cause those problems. Your ping issues seems to have started after 3-4 laps and all of a sudden as you can see from my race 1 highlights, so that might be the reason for that.

I would suggest you to check the next time you'll be racing online for some time if your router is way too hot.

My brother was ok after changing it. Not telling you that is the problem or to buy a new one, but it's worth checking it. I for example have the router not laying flat on the furniture, but i use a ceramic plate to keep it raised for better airflow.

It's only a game and as i said last night 'Use your heads and think' to all here before uploading videos of people lagging, But you said in you're reply to me that this is what you're going to do later so i can see how 'impressive' it was. IIRC he has like 10 world record on different maps, on UV Fast settings. He's a freaking monster at that game

It is still an issue that needs to be resolved/looked at. Nothing would more than likely come from it unless the lag continued week to week. And I would be fine with it. I have said several times that I was aware it wasn't your fault and didn't hold it against you in any way.

How was I not a passenger? Full stop and full steering to the right to not get into the way for anyone, which didn't work anyway obviously. Had there not been grass then maybe.

What 4 cars? I was 5th or 6th when the accident happened. Was passed by the 2 that was following and then there was no other cars to be seen.
Yes in hindsight I should have waited for you but I thought you would overtake my limping car nevertheless and with only 2 corners to the pits where I would have to stay for ages I thought you would be well ahead anyways.

I do apologize again but believe it or not, I'm not trying to take out other drivers with purpose.

I was reffering to the original crash, it looked like you spun then drove back onto the track then hit me but you said you had no control. Thats fine if you can't control the car (your bouncing off a barrier etc) your a passenger. It didn't look like it til you said it. I know you have no intention to take anyone out glad you clarified what happened I was limping back to pits aswell nightmare lol.

OK guys i just got to say i haven't dropped out. I had to work this weekend and I forgot to confirm I couldn't race. My fault. Ill be at the next one. It really sucks to cause I was putting up some good times this week. O well shiznit happens!!!

And if i hadn't disconnected on Sunday in the first Brands race i would have won, after getting pole, and been racing you fellas in room 1 for Bathurst. I have little time to practice due to work, girlfriend etc like most of us. I maybe got 4 hours maximum practice before the Brands races, but did a best lap before disconnecting of 1:23.5 with 45 litres of fuel, so not that far off your alien pace....I would have loved to have raced you guys, it's a shame i won't get the chance.

And i don't have an attitude, i just stick up for myself, and say what i feel, after all it is a public forum is it not? The spend more time practicing was more of a joke regarding your previous post, and i'm not an alien in any way.

As far as I know all this debate started due to your internet connection and not because you are a dirty driver or anything.
Instead of taking the help you get as negative, take it as feedback and see if it helps you in anyway.
I pretty much live a the northpole compared to the rest in this series and my whole gaming career I've played with UK people so my connection have not been the best always either. But you just take the feedback you get and try to improve it.

I know your a quick driver, therefore I hope you continue to run in this series so that we can have some good fights in room 1 in the future which i'm sure we will have.
If you do some more races and there is no lag at all then we know that it probably was just a one time error.

Could you post a replay of it? Being 5-6 seconds off pace is a lot and i want to improve my lines and see what i do wrong...

I have improved a 0.7s already.

this is mine, sadly i use km/h and a vastly different FOV setting so it's hard to judge entry and exit speeds without having a calculator in hands all the time :/

Still it doesn't look that different, so i need to check what is slowing down my tune...

Based on your speed I would say you are running down force, possibly quite a bit. I converted your speed at the end of the straight 263KPH is 163 MPH, the Aston would be getting 180MPH at least I would say. That is costing you big, plus there are a few other corners where you lost time.

I've only seen it once, but there was a drift into 1st right, then I think you could have got a little closer on the sharp left, you can keep it flat around the next corner, which would lose you a few tenths, then a little more aggressive coming onto the mountain and you turned in quite early for the fast left before the corkscrew, that would have cost time too. Obviously the corkscrew (I call it anyway) without ABS will be treacherous, so the more you can get the car stable down there the more time you will reap. There was a little time lost on the last right before the straight, which would cost you all the way down the straight. If you have high down force that is a double whammy.

My suggestion would be drop the down force, as the BMW was getting 172 at the end of Kemmel straight in Quali, here it should be more like 180 or more if the gearing allows. The McLaren's are hitting 180 too. 180 is 289 KPH. That's what you should be aiming for down that back straight at the end.

I'm using 2/1 or 1/1 downforce i'll try lenghtening gears a bit... Car feels like it misses some hps

I already have brake balance at 60% front so not sure how to stabilize car more nut thanks For the suggestions! I need to find at least 2 seconds and all help is precious...

O boy. First day I could practice. I have played this track once since Ive owned the game. O BOY!!! They have had to peal me off the track a few times. Any help with a z4 Setup would be greatly appreciated!! O BOY!! LOL
