PSN DNS Error?

The past two days I keep getting DNS errors on PSN. Never saw these once in my life and it just started the other day ( February 12th, 2014). Am I the only one getting this error code or is PSN having issues again?

So it isn't my internet then because everything else works fine.

Another thing I noticed is on the us.playstation.com website it shows that PS3 is on 4.53 and under System Information on my PS3 i'm on 4.55? Think that has anything to do with it?

Well called my ISP and its a problem on their end so all is good. They said it will be fixed today.

They take forever to update the PSN website with the new firmware revision.





As far as your error goes... good luck. When mine starting doing that, I ultimately had to connect my PS3 directly to my modem with an assigned IP (in the DMZ, no less) to get it to stop. Couldn't find any other solution. I hope the ISP fixes it for you.

Couldn't you change the DNS IP address to 8.8.8.8 and get it to work?

Mine don't do it anymore.
