9 if us in D2.

We need racers.

We so should of cancelled this week and ran it at the end. LoL

We miss Paul, Fedros, Henry and Steve. HURRY UP!!!!

Can your pie hole Sgt :p. HSVs get checked last anyways :sly:.

(Because they too epic for the rest of the field)

I couldn't see Jash or Jess so that booted me out..

Now can't re join the room could you please ask them to leave/comeback after me. I ain't missing potentially the only race I can do for certain in this..

They kicked you? Or you left and can't re-join?
If they kicked you a new room needs made.

PC off, PSN from here...

Booted as in they went loading bars and I DC'ed. They are above me so I think that was why, not sure though. No one else was loading just them.

Re trying to join again but all are still in the room so looks like the one Sunday I get off work is going to be for nothing.. Nope DC'ed again..

Probably should have just stayed in bed. Too tired, couldn't focus, too slow. Was at least keeping it on the track, but then I randomly decided to just drive it straight into the pit entrance wall and get engine damage.

Hopefully Spa won't be as bad.

Lap 1 crash with Skeng ruined my race from the get go. He got sideways in the left right after the esses and spun out infront of me and I had no where to go. Got full engine damage so had to pit.

I was 56 seconds behind after my pit and from then on in I pushed my heart out and made very minimal errors, got a 56.8 at one point 👍. By the end of my first real stint I had climbed up a few places.

During my second stint I gained 2 (3, Skeng left) more places and had near enough held pace with the leader being about 1:02/3 behind. I then pitted and came out slightly behind H who I was a full pit stop behind before so knew I could pass him pretty easy. I kept pounding in the laps and passed him by lap 50-52. I just drove home from there with the knowledge that the top 5 were around 30 secs infront. Even so I gained about 5 seconds on the 3rd-5th pack.

Ended 1:13 off the lead due to a few errors in the final laps and around 24 seconds off 3rd. So a touch race for me I know I had 3rd if not for my crap luck on lap 1.... Still I drove damn good by my standards to fight back from a 55 second deficit and last to 6th.

No Pag, you only need 65 liters.. Take 70 and you're safe. 👍

Dennis. Your fuel strategy caused me to make three stops and grab an 10 liters. I get passed by two people and thought surely my podium was gone. Some how with some grit and luck I caught 4th and 3rd and finished back on the podium.

Don't think second was even possible so very pleased to get the podium.

Fun race. Had to pee about 15 to go and got bad about 5 to go.

Shoo belly full of thanksgiving food. Time for some F1 action.

What a 🤬 disaster.

Lap 10 my downshift paddle breaks so I am forced to downshift with the stupid lever. That threw my rhythm way the hell off. Then to top it all off the car was so JUNK after 15 laps, I don't know how the hell some of you did a 1-stopper because with the Z it just wasn't possible without running 2:00 laps.

I hate this track.
I hate this car.

I'm done.

I've had that 4-5 times before, and only ever at Nurb GP ! Last time I had it was in free run earlier this week. It will upshift me randomly, and then regardless of which paddle I press, it will upshift. What I need to do is downshift once using the gear lever, then it will go back to normal.

The paddle shifter on the DFGT is fine, what happened is the little metal spring on my Gran Turgismo paddle snapped so that the paddle kept flopping around. I could have still used it but I would have had to hold it in place the whole time. I just decided to upshift with the right paddle and downshift with the lever. Got used to it after a while but just wouldn't allow me to keep appropriate attention to other things like I needed to.

So now this week I have to contact the Gran Turgismo guy and find out if I can get a new spring local or if I need to get one from him. :indiff:

Lap 1 DC. :(

Well, at least it didn't do it on Lap 50.

Tough luck man... least it didn't break your hart at the end I guess.
I took full advantage of you and Josh dropping out though, so cheers. :sly:

Josh dropped out too? Are you kidding me?

...

I swear I want to go right to PD headquarters and let out a 🤬 fest. It's a complete joke that we have to go through so much unnecessary steps to properly setup a series online, and then have a flimsy network that screws over fast people time and again. I don't care about how many pixels a car has, I just want the damn game to work properly, so we can all enjoy a good race together. Is that really too much to ask? 👎

Sorry. I just had to let that out.

No disrespect man, but not sure how it's PD's fault. I have a $30 internet connection and I've DC'd only a handful of times since the game was released. Either I'm just in a good connection area or something because I don't have any issues usually.

Rich. How old is your modem. Router involved. How old is it.

Might try listing connection type. Comcast cable. Sprint DSL. Etc etc.

Equiptment in the loop.

Wire or wireless.

There are some seriously smart network guys in PURE. Connection issues shouldn't be a problem.

Right now, its:

Cox Communications
Motorola Surfboard Modem
Wired
Belkin F5D8233 Router
Static IP, DMZ

Did everyone really one-stop? I never went past 15 laps in one long run, but the car was still doing high 56s, so I suppose I could've kept going.

Awesome awesome awesome race!!

I was too concerned about the fuel required, so put a good 12-15 liters too much in.. Wich caused me at least 2 positions in the end..

But awesome race non the less!! 👍

Longer report comming up later on..
