For those who also race GT5 with the Fanatec GT3 RS v2 wheel, you been able to map ( or better: remap) the buttons at all on your wheel ?

I still haven't figured it out so would love some tips !

remap yes, reconfigure as for the logitech driving force pro. ( just go into the settings for this controller one and remap the buttons)

you can change the buttons to any number of supported functions.. which includes having the functionality of the GT Pro although to be fair it's not as easy to adjust without the rotary encoder!! still it does work..

This is why GT3 RS Clubsport v2 is the best wheel for GT5, you can adjust what ever you want on the while driving.
By apperance in the meny:

Sen:Sensitivity, Adjust steering lock from 180 to 900 degrees (Mine 650)
FF: Force Feed,back 0-100% (Mine 010)(In game meny: 8)
Sho: Shock, Adjust vibration 0-100% (Mine 050)
dri: Drift, Adjust dampers (For drift mode) (Mine OFF)
AbS: Adjust abs vibration brake pedal 0-100% (Mine OFF, not using abs)
Lin: Linearity around center 0-100 (Mine 000)
dEA: Deadzone around center 0-100 (Mine 010)

By adjusting deadzone to 010 you will have a rock steady car in high speed, and no ff working against you when going strait forward.

I'll have a look gslooney, problem i find is that I am unsure which buttons on that driving wheel reflect my buttons.

It is kinda annoying that you can't just press the function ingame, for instance horn, and then just assign a button on your wheel by pressing it.
so select Horn, press button on your wheel and it will be mapped to that button. They really did a f'd up job on that part.
But will give it a go with that wheel and see how it goes.

@ Lauvaas, ye I know about the wheel settings. Love it. I got slots 3 pre programmed for use with drifting, X1, normal racing.
Adjust on the go is one of the very best functions of this wheel, this is why it is also so much better then other wheels. And then we haven't even discussed the club sport pedals which are in a league of their own.

cheers.

Check this out..

now when you go into Driving Force Pro options..

as you highlight the items the blue cursor surounds the button..

So For example I use the dpad for RA function select and adjust..
the X button for RA Function Menu
Square for handbrake etc..

L1 and L2 are the gear change behind the wheel.

Ah ye cheers, should be able to work it out now !
Think I had seen this in the PDF of Fanatec itself but forgot all about it.

Cheers buddy
