Questionable modifications: pictures inside!

I disagree. It's to take the mickey and show pictures of badly modified cars. Being snobbish and assuming that you're better than everyone is not the idea. It's the line between joking around and just being a knob.

I'm taking the mickey. And I have a reason for doing it. I realize you are not defending the Audi, but it is a particularly badly modified car.

The thing about a nice pair of trainers is that they actually are quite comfortable and effective walking shoes, even if they were expensive and built for running.

But hardparkers typically spend a lot of money to destroy the actual functional performance of the car, so they can better pretend that it performs!

If calling those people morons makes me arrogant, I can live with a little of that.

Some SICKKKK cars around the Toronto area

👍

Thank you, this is a more logical explanation of why you don't like hardparkers and I can see why you don't like them. The Audi is a particularly bad (good?) example though, where the car would be seriously compromised for performance driving - but I often see the term applied to some otherwise pretty nice Japanese cars which have been posted occasionally where to the best of my knowledge they'd perform perfectly well on a track, it's just that the owners clearly choose not to take their cars there. These are the people that I can't see the problem with.

Anyway...

Another questionable Audi

A shame it looks so awful as it actually looks like it's been put together fairly well.

Just found out someone on the chav side of my family owns this eyesore;

Might go set fire to it later...

EDIT: Also, why is it in the garden?! I know it's a shed but isn't that taking it a bit far?

I'd love to 'race' my car against it. I'm guessing it's a 1.0l which makes it even more hilarious. It never ceases to put a massive smile on my face when I get a chav in a 1.0 Corsa or 1.1 Saxo trying to 'race' my car and they lose.

Hard revving 1.2 engine in light, modern car vs. wheezy 1.1 in a broken old car weighed down by huge audio installs = LOL.

I think that Sunfire was attempting to be like the F1 racers at Monza that go faster after having their front wing smashed off.

Certainly in his case it would make for less weight.

It's because it hasn't been taxed since October 2007 - and isn't showing as SORNed either, which is very naughty and might attract a fine...

Edit: And also uninsured. Which isn't a problem if it doesn't go anywhere, but...

It's also a 1.2 :D

The pink and the stickers doesnt help this Corsa and the massive bodywork!

I just dont understand why the owner invest so much money on a Corsa, with the money he spent buying parts I guess he could buy a better car.

It's called customization, being unique, differentiating from the masses, being cool, you get the point. From their viewpoint, that is... from us others', no idea.

Hood-to-Bumper seems right.

Thats about the only thing that lines up, everything else is way off, I wouldn't even accept that from the body shop if thats how they tried to give it too me. 👎
