But do not worry 'tis only temporary

I think that looks fairly decent myself. Might be better painted black though so it's even more subtle. That's what I did on my old car, it made a world of difference from the silver.

painted black, no longer a question. Even still its not super bad like this one mexican guy i worked with that cut out all the black pieces on his civic grill and put in that silver mesh you get at home depot that is made for mud bed floors. There is one of his cousins that lives in my apartment complex that has an older honda i will have to take a pic of and post it on here, its so mexyrice.

Posting your own car in the questionable mods thread? Yeesh... :boggled:
Oh yes!
I like his guts. he has a sense of humor about himself.
why thank you.

Perhaps bbut If I painted it black and put it back in there It might have flakes cause to get it in there we had to slide it through the front.

As soon as i hear the rumble of that weedeater i will grab my camera and casually walk down to his house with a nice cold cerveza for him and while he is enjoying that i will snap a few:sly: Its cars like his that made me come up with the term mexyrice. Ricers are ricers, but when mexicans do a ricer it goes to a totally new level.

^^^ What he said. There is a big Mexican/Hispanic community a few minutes from where I live and a lot of them drive these Mexi-Rice rockets. I always get a good chuckle when I see a bunch of them crowded around an old lime green Integra that even your stereotypical ricer would be ashamed to drive. And then you get kinda sad because that car could very well be what they all want to own when they grow up...

^^

Yeah. There's a Lime green accord that has been evolving over the past few years. first wheels, then a wing, then a "CF" wing, then fender vents, then a kit, then the kit was painted, then decals..

:yuck:

There's a hideous thing over the road from me, a Corsa with the most horrendous body kit and exhaust but still stock underneath. The girl who owns it washes it at least once a week, the ironic thing is though, that she still hasn't passed her test and so can't actually drive it! I love parking my stock RX-8 next to it just to make a point.

I'll try and get a picture of it when no-ones around!

Oh dear god. I had one of those Astras once, they feel like you're driving a boat, the interior is horribly put together, they're slow, break down a lot and have no redeeming styling features whatsoever.

That car is the equivalent of taking a dump in your friend's laundry basket and then puking on top of it in an attempt to cover up the smell of ****.

Even the GSI edition was only fast in a straight line.

I have a mate with one of these Astras. After driving it myself I can agree entirely with your assessment. He would also add 'bounces violently on bump stops under enthusiastic cornering.'

His car is a bit of a state; no side repeater after some dodgy crash repairs, a broken lock after someone tried to nick his CD player, mushrooms growing in the boot floor and no inside cover for the rear lights, which, coupled to the lack of a parcel shelf, lights the inside of the car at night. I thought it was the shoddiest Astra i've seen. But thankyou Richardrfo, you have proven me wrong

The eclipse is nothing horrible, just standard eclipse with your run of the mill knock of rims. But that cavalier is just plain horrible, i feel better about my life by seeing it.

I second 🤬 above...
and @ breakpoint
Sometimes I want to ask these people that get the hood vents, what happed, did you have a bad looking truck then sell that and thought it would be an even better Idea to put them on a car?

Am I the only one not moved in the least in the mashup of that Audi?

Truth be told, it's a couple design changes away from actually looking acceptable. But, acceptable or not, it's still an Audi.
