As it's stated in the other thread, purposeful isn't necessarily tasteful.

Doesn't make them questionable either. As said many times with these cars before (not just today), those bodykits aren't for show, they are tracked. Unless, it's a U.S. owner as they just love to hardpark them. I personally would only call the 930 tasteful, it's not as extreme.

And just because they're used in their present state, they're not necessarily used to their full potential because of their present state.

How so?

It does when the extremes to which the modifications are taken likely hinder performance.
(See above) Do you think they don't? Stiffening/lowering a chassis/suspension can improve performance but there are limits.

Admittedly, I might not dislike RWB cars as much if it weren't for the [US] cars that don't get used. I'd chalk it up to 'because race car.'

Like just about everything else you can do to a car? You're going to lose something whilst gaining another. I'm not sure where you're getting at. They're not highway or drag machines, their sole purpose is to be raced around a circuit. They love Tsukuba so I suppose any high speed or long corners aren't considered in their set up.

What's gained when a car's lowered so much with the tires in such close proximity to the bodywork? There's no room for movement, when getting the most out of a car performance-wise is all about management of weight transfer. Too much transfer and you get pulled away from the line but too little and you can't hold the line to begin with. Anyway...

I used to wonder how Cosmics would look chromed, now I'm wishing I hadn't found out.

I've heard the owner plans to track the NSX. We'll see. (Still hate the wrap).

That 458 isn't any better in person. Who puts blue wheels on a blue car?

Ugh. I was looking for images to depict how a Ford Ranger's I-beam suspension induces camber during travel for another thread and happened upon this:

But hey, I still appreciate your opinion ;)
And that's appreciated. I don't knock anyone for liking something I don't--at least not individually, as a group they only prolong a trend --because it's their right.

I won't even get into the typical Strosek front end...but that roof!

A 993 Speedster with an aero roof.. Most definitely Yes!

One improvement they could have made though, is to have a rear glass (instead of buttresses) to echo the exact shape of the of the engine grill.. That would make something already awesome, into Super Awesome!

[EDIT]

Make that glass area slatted too. Triple awesome.
