It looks like junk on wheels

The front suspension doesn't substantiate that. The end of that statement was well-placed.
Might aswell be a different front suspension since that thing is a mishmash eitherway. A Beetle-derived drivetrain in that looks to be more than likely.

The latter appears to be the case, but having removed numerous VW bodies from their respective pans makes me question anything beyond the engine and transaxle being employed.

ahAHahA awesome. I didn't remember that. Hell I didn't remember the movie

I always thought it was scary that they made Hamill do a film when his entire face was still pretty obviously a big piece of scar tissue from when he crashed his car that year.

That... actually looks like it was pretty competently built. Probably still a work in progress, but those frame rails and the skid plate look like something off of construction equipment.

I did this.

I've never much liked the "happy" look of the S2000, so I found one with a spoon front end and photoshopped (not that well mind you, please squint) it's eyes off. I kind of like the result. Has a sort of 348TB/512 BBLM menace to it. Also, it is much more in line with Honda's SSM concept from 1995. But some people will undoubtedly hate it. Trust me, I'm a designer.

I think this teeters on the edge of both questionable and sexy-mean, but I'll let an informal poll built from the responses to these photos decide:

I question the use of a belt drive (input can be seen under the inboard CV boot) simply to position the pinion shaft in line with the engine's crankshaft. Prop shafts do just fine to accommodate equal-length axles. "It weighs a ton and saps power but at least it looks good."

If that's the motor I think it is, I'll wait for the belt to snap the first time he guns it.

I.... uh.... huh?

Why?

Function>form ESPECIALLY with engines... that looks like a mess. Like a ticking time bomb.

It's a Boss 429, and clearly not a stock one. 'Engineered for Facebook' about sums the whole thing up.
Oh boy. Considering how easy it is to get 800hp out of one with minimal modifications (seriously an intake, carb and cam will put out 700 by itself), this scares me.

A lot.

If those are Kaase heads with a massive stroker kit, you're looking at 1,500+ horsepower if not more...

Any more info on this or a link? Belts can be amazingly strong. However, I'm not convinced that this is a belt drive until I see/read better evidence.

It's not belt drive.
That is Fuller Hot Rods AWD '32 Ford called Double Down from SEMA a few years ago.
It has a GM transfercase.

I don't like it much, not with this set of rims and the front bumper, amtter of opinion, I find it a bit questuionable.

My eyes!!

Oh for the love of God...why. Why is had to be a mustang to receive that treatment...the idea is okay, just the execution seems poor.

But if anything, that hood belong in a dragster, in my humble opinion. if it was smaller, it would of made more sense.

EDIT: Oh for the love o f... I find it abysmal people can manage making it look worse, I seen way worse but would be very much mockery style of cars, messed up stuff and such. This one is legitimate BAD.
